| One of the reasons I don't take my dogs to off leash parks.

| I signed. I am sorry I makes me furious that people intentionally leave poisoned food out knowing that people's pets will eat it and die. There is a cruelty in people that always stuns me even though I know I know it happens all the time. I am so sorry about the loss of Foxy and the other victims of this cruelty. Thank you for making a difference. Even on a leash under control Buster ate chewing gum someone threw away on the sidewalk that I was afraid might have xylitol in in so off we ran to the vet. It was in his mouth and gone in a sec.

| I signed it. I don't understand why individuals cannot take it upon themselves to place warning posters all over the park. It surely couldn't hurt to place a few cameras around to see if someone could be caught doing this. Sometimes people have to take things into their own hands.

Sugar most likely wouldn't eat something she found on the ground because she is so very picky , but it sounds like you are blaming the owners who "allow" their dogs to roam off leash in a dog park. Why no reaction about the poisoned food?

| People are horrible, lots of sick people out there. In a big park (gated) you can't really see what your dog is doing.. the dog park I use to go to is small so where ever Pnut was I could see him. I won't let Pnut drink out of the water bowl, I would bring my own bottle.

| In theory that would be great, but to be honest not many people are willing to get involved.. quite sad really. |

| It's disgusting isn't it? But unfortunately it's happening all over In the run-up to Christmas, burglaries increase. Some people have alarm systems, either connected to security companies or straight to the police. Others have big (apparently frightening) dogs to guard/protect their property. I have read time after time about poisoned meat being thown over yard fences - either to sedate the dogs while the crime is committed, or sometimes the dose is so high that the poor animal dies. It's heartbreaking Sally + Harry x |
