| Oh my gosh, what a horrible tragedy. Years ago when I groomed a woman brought her cocker in and after the bather brought him to me it was not long he went into cardic arrest. He did live but come to find out he always got stressed and so the lady had took him to her vet to get something to relax him and he was given to much meds. From what I understand he tried to bite the vet and he just over medicated him. There are so many sad and uncalled for situation. This has to be just horrible knowing that baby should have never been left unattented. So so sorry for your loss. RIP little one. Hope things work out and they at least compensate you for your loss even though it won't bring back your baby. |

| Such a tragedy, I wish I could do something to help the OP. I don't know why I keep coming back here, every time I read the posts I almost cry. I am so sad this happened. I did want to know why and what caused the death. I know accidents happen, but in my heart I feel this is outright neglect. I feel such rage that this healthy little Yorkie died from a broken neck.We lose our precious Yorkies to things we have no control over, diseases and illness. Something like this, is just like a drunk driver plowing into a crowd. Was it intentional no, is he responsible yes, should he be punished, yes. I am praying for the OP that she can find comfort and remember the joyful memories. I wish I could give you a hug.

| This is a perfect example as to why I cut Andy's hair myself. It may not be perfect but. I used to work at a groomers doing comb outs and I hated how the animals were treated. I just can't leave him at one.

| Oh wow!! My heart aches for you! I dont even know what to say other than do take the great advice you've received here. If this was a total careless act on the groomer, they need to be made responsible for this in every way possible. So so sorry you are having to go through this! Hugs to you

| What??? This is terrible! I'm SO sorry this happened and my heart is breaking for you and your pup. I cannot imagine something like this happening to one of my babies. This definitely sounds like neglect or negligence on the groomer's part. It should never happen. I know accidents happen, but they are usually due to someone's carelessness. You are in my thoughts and prayers! RIP poor little baby!

| This has always been one of my biggest fears , something happening at the groomers It makes is sick , and very very sad. i hope you do pursue pressing charges against the groomer . i know it won;t bring your baby back , but they are the ones to blame. I have seen the groomers at Petsmart walk away from grooming tables leaving the dog on the table with a strap around it's neck , I was furious .This accident should have never happened.

| I quit taking my 4 Yorkies to the groomer 6 months ago, mainly to save money. I always worried about them, now after reading this I will continue to attempt to groom them and not care if they aren't perfect.

| I'm sorry your having to go through this. The groomers need to be held responsible for this for any future animals. Rest in peace little one.
