| Well, what is bad is this is not the first time. Several months ago they had another little dog and about 2 weeks later, all of a sudden it was gone. My dh said last night he bet the same thing happen to it. They leave them out all night and expect them to stay in the yard, I guess. Stupid, stupid, stupid. |

| If it were me, I'd be calling the local APL or whomever and file a complaint about animal cruelty. That is sad and disgusting! These people should be held accountable.

| Very Sad ! I'm sorry you are dealing with this. If they get another Puppy & you see it outside of the house or fenced yard without a leash then you need to call your local animal control officer & report it . I bet there is a leash law in your city. |

| This is a good idea... that'll stop them. Almost every city has leash laws now.

| All they would have to do is deny it was their dog. What is crazy, it did have a leash on. The kids were chasing it up and down the street, playing with it and letting it run loose with its leash on. I don't know if the leash was on when it was hit or not, but with these nuts, it probably was, so they could say they were not breaking the law and the dog got loose. The dog did not get loose. They let it run loose with the leash on. |

| My next door neighbor was allowing her two young children chase around a small puppy outside too. Then she was leavingthe puppy outside at night all the time. We live upstairs n a apartment , and the poor little pup would be right at the neighbors door , I knocked on her door several times to let this pup inside .Then she started leaving the pup outside during the day when it was 100 ' temps. The puppu was following everyone who walked by, and even me when going down the stairs in the parking lot. I reported it to the managers and that same day she got a 3 day notice. get rid of the dog are be evicted> She found a better home for the puppy through a friend of hers. I never told her it was me and she did not think it was. I felt very bad for this puppy , and her children wer eso mean to it. It is so very sad when people do not take care of their animals and the animal gets hurt or killed. they don't treat life as precious and don't care. I think that most people do care and are good pet owners, but a few are really bad and should never have a dog/cat .
