BTRA(Biewer Terrier Registry) Manager Arrested for Animal/Child Cruelty

I am new to all of this. I do not know why anyone cares what type of dogs are involved. The real question is how does a club like the Biewer Terrier Club of America allow an awful woman like this to run their registry? WHo is in charge of that club and why do they allow animal abusers to be members.

Did you see the video's of the conditions the dogs were living in? Not sure how those allegations are false.... The whole ordeal was covered quite extensively in my area.

Irregardless of her involvement in any registry, I feel terrible for the dogs and children involved in this case. I'm very glad the pups have been adopted out to good homes.

I have to agree with you, what does a registry have to do with anything. We all know why the registry was mention. Do you find it odd that nothing was mentioned about the other registries that APAD represents?

I would like to know how many people are walking around their homes in an inch of water? It certainly isn't the norm, yet the paper mentioned it as though it were. How do you think that water got there?

Most breeders that raise their dogs in their homes are going to have pee pads all over the place, unless they have them in cages. When you leave home for the day you are going to put down twice as many. After being at a ball game all day with her CHILDREN, she came home to a flooded house due to a broken water pipe. As I said there is more to the story that the newspaper isn't printing. Everyone knows what sells a paper and unfortunately, it isn't sunshiny skies.

I do not know why excuses are being made for this woman. A broken pipe does not cause dogs to suffer from the conditions shown in the videos.

And what kind of person would allow a dog to decompose in their bedroom... one of the dead dogs was found in a bag in a bedroom. I am not one for getting involved in these type of stories, but no amount of excuses are going to change the fact that she is guilty of animal abuse.

The BTCA hired an independent organization run by Tamara Bebe, to process their registrations.The APAD represents various Rare Breed Dog Associations. Neither Tamara or Tiffany have ever been a member of the BTCA or BTRA.

After reading all of these posts, I decided to do my own research and call those involved including the Animal Control in AZ. This is what I found out:
1. There are absolutely no complaints against Tamara and her dogs.
2. Tiffany NEVER had her children taken away.
3. Tiffany has no affiliation with the running of the registry that her mother owns.
4. Neither Tamara or Tiffany have ever been members of the BTCA or BTRA, they have never owned Biewer Terriers.
5. Neither one of these ladies is related to anyone past or present belonging to the BTCA.
6. The confiscated dogs were altered and adopted out.
7. BTRA is not the only registry that Tamara handles. She has other clubs but due to what is going on here with BTRA, I think it is better that anyone who is interested should contact her and ask her themselves about the other clubs.

The issue here is about the dogs, so it makes me wonder what the OP's motive was to title the thread using the BTRA and BTCA names. These two entities have absolutely nothing to do with this case and it seems that there is an ulterior motive to this post. The title should have read simply:"Mi-ki Breeder Arrested for Animal Cruelty." Please ladies let's not destroy an innocent woman's (Tamara) reputation and lively hood because of the actions of her daughter who lives across the country from her.

The Macon County, Il. court web site says that Tiffany has been charged with 4 felony counts of animal cruelty. (This is what??? up to 12 years in prison???).

So how can anyone say that BTRA is not involved? It is involved.
How can anyone say that BTCA is not involved? By the admission of their president above, they are involved....

Perhaps I am too stupid to understand.

I've see the APDB post, what I'm looking for is something showing that they own the BTRA name. I've seen it mentioned now twice, but havent seen any links that show it.

I've haven't been able to find a whole lot of independent information about the BRTA. I've tried searching for articles of incorporation, but i've been unsuccessful so far (of course, I haven't spent a whole lot of time on it either.) it just seems extremely odd to have any kind of business without a physical address attached to it, only email for communication.

The BRTA website is registered to a California address, but there is no record of either a corporation or LLC with that name on the secretary of state's website.
