Wow am I ever glad I read this. I thought I was the only one who asked her dogs their opinion on things. I do it all the time. I talk to them like they were adult people. I too say thank you when they do something I've asked. We're not crazy we just love our dogs.

I talk to my dog constantly. She understands almost everything I say. I can tell by the way she reacts. She does tilt her head a lot also. I do feel a little weird talking to her when I'm out walking or in public, but I can't help it. She will stare at me at times wondering what we are going to do...so I have to tell her. LOL!

We talk to ours all the time. They understand just about everything you say to them. Lexi, Dudley, Kayla help me find Tina since she is sick with CHF and dementia. SHe is hard to keep up with sometimes and they always know if she is stuck somewhere. Kayla even talks to her daddy on the phone when he calls from work. She is a real daddy's girl. I know, we are crazy!!!
