TALK TO A DOG ? Anyone ever hear of 'that crazy Yorkie lady down the street' ? Well, that is probably me. Yes, I talk to my Yorkies, yes i dress them, yes their Vet bills are paid instead of taking a vacation, yes I had my carpet ripped up and tile put down, can i quit now ? There is more..........

I talk to Lil' Miss Izzie all the time and she does understand what I am saying...

We do the spelling thing also. That is how smart they are

Guilty here too. They understand so much. They are so expressive that I feel like I can tell what they are saying back to me too.

I talk to all 6 of our dogs,so does everyone else in the house. Its nice to know that I am not alone in my insanity.

Yes we talk to Louie so much so now we have also had to spell certain words,and I think by the end of the week he will have figured those word also.

They are just like kids, atleast thats how we treat him. very smart pupster!!

LOL!!! We thought we were the only ones who had to spell when speaking around our dogs! You're right, they do figure out the spellings too!

Princess loves going to "Grandma's house" so if I have to talk about my mom to my dd I say "my parents, your grandmother, my mom's house". LOL, it's ridiculous!

oh gosh no... my bf and I talk to the dogs all the time. Like they are real kids! haha

I tell them about my day sometimes, they sit on my lap and kiss me. I tell them what Im making for dinner. I explain to them why I can't play or cuddle at that moment. They are sooo sweet and lovable. NO matter how much I cuddle them, they always want more... LOL When I talk to them, they cock their heads and stare straight at me. I just adore them!

Yes we spell words like "treat,cookie,gobyebye,pool". You can get run over in our house if you dare say these words.

I'm so goofy that I hold whole conversations with Lucy. What's so "goofy" about that you ask? She is deaf.

I do it all the time. Well my whole family does it. We all talk to her like how we talk to eachother. And I know she is starting to understand most of what we are telling her to do because she mostly does it.
