| I have one and I use it mostly for pet expos because at 16 Callie is to heavy to carrie in a carrier for a long amount of time but still to small for me to be comfortable with her on the ground around so many people. Now Callie doesn't want to walk around the pet store anymore she walks to the cart and tries climbing up they side of the cart and once when we were looking at something she got on the thing at the bottom of the cart thinking if she wasn't going to be put in the cart she would find another way to ride.

I mean, whatever floats your boat. It's not something I really care if other people are doing but my dogs will always be allowed to be dogs first and foremost and while Jackson is my baby, he IS still a dog and pushing him in a stroller just seems so... ridiculous. The only way I'd happily do it is if he was super arthritic and old, or lame, or ill like you said. Or I could understand for traveling thru airports, etc. That's why I don't judge when I do see people with them because you never know what their situation may be. But they are just not my cup of tea.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We have one that we paid 60.00 for off of EBAY. It has 4 clips on the inside (great when you have multiple yorkies) it is a 3 wheel one with a cup holder lots of pockets and storage places. We recently went to a meetup and I do not know what I would have done without it! I have one female that is so nervous and its cruel for me to make her walk on leash. Her blood pressure and temp goes sky high. My vet actually recommended a stroller for her as nothing helps her. People should not make assumptions about others using them. I would love for my baby to be able to enjoy meeting and playing with other yorkies but she doesnt feel safe. She is comfortable in her stroller and I would never take that away from her. I definitely recommend them when you attend meetups or even taking them shopping with you, they are much safer there than walking freely in crowds. Not to mention diseases they can catch! |

YT 500 Club Member | Are they strapped in like a car seat? I can see mine going crazy when she sees another dog and flying out. I know they have a screen, but can they break through? I have always wanted one for crowds or vacation to keep her safe, but I am afraid people would stare when I have a crazy, barking baby being pushed down the street.

People will always judge or give looks. You will get em from strangers, friends, coworkers, neighbors and family for using quality products, dressing them, putting on bows, feeding 'expensive' food and most definitely putting them in a stroller. Those who have high opinions and opposing them and claim they dont judge. . . . Are politely lying Dont worry about others. Do what you want and spoil your furbabies rotten. I learned to grow thick skin and bathe in butter I am clumsy with strollers. I used to babywear my skin kid and to carry my pets in carriers if I need to bring em with me. I do think strollers are used more for safety for our pets and not very many use them as a fashion statement. Great invention! Im digging the homemade stroller above. Pretty neat and savvy

| I have a used chocolate brown stroller that is also very light and small. Bet it would rock as pet stroller with hot pink mesh and maybe adding a zipper on one side, a clear vinyl window and making the mesh permanent. Hmmmmmm

| We absolutelty love the stroller we have for our babies. We put them in it when we go to festivals, flea markets, or to an outdoor pet friendly restaurant...anywhere little pups have the risk of getting stepped on or hurt. Sometimes we get some looks, but pup parents are always asking us where we got our stroller and agree that it is a good idea for tired, small or injured pets who still want to go out and about with Mommy and Daddy. Here is a picture of Valentino and Lolita enjoying a "stroll" around the Halloween pet parade. Mommy's "Charming Prince and Princess" had such a fun time!

No, some choose to not vaccinate, delay vaccination, limit vaccinations, own a puppy who is not yet fully immunized or own an immunocompromised pet. Either way, each person reigns their own castle and should. Maybe here in the US we have a different 'culture' ?
