Dogs recovering from surgery Legg calves perthes Intervertebral disc disease Hip dysplasia Arthritis Collasping trachea Congestive heart failure Neurological disorders ...to name just a few. I agree that they should not be used to replace walks unless a health problem makes walking dangerous. There are good reasons to use them. And while I hope your pups are healthy enough not to require it (or big enough not to get stepped on in crowds, etc.), remember not all of us are in the same situation. If I want to walk my dog name, it is medically necessary (unless I carry her).

I did not make the mesh permanent because the point was for it to be under $30 total however if you do make it permanent i urge you to remove the tray and get high quality mesh little claws tear it up fast and the tray tends to catch as well

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I originally got mine because my elderly pom had Cushing's disease and Congesive heart failure but loved to go with on our walks. I hope you never have to deal with an elderly, sick dog.

| I just got a stroller for my boys and must say I love it. I used it for the first time and walked Bailey, he LOVES his walks, and Jesse spent most of the time in the stroller. Jesse has little shorty legs and he tires much quicker then Bailey, the stroller serves it's purpose for me.

| I used to judge people who used strollers. But since being here on YT, and seeing stories like Layla's, I judge a whole lot less. I could also use one for Lucy, who has some mild health issues of her own. She simply cannot do the length of walk that my Westie can and I usually end up carrying her toward the end of a 3-4 mile walk. I certainly would never just put my dog in a stroller their main means of transportation and my dogs are truly dogs, walking, digging, running, playing. But I do believe the strollers have their place - in the various situations that others have mentioned as well as various health reasons. My maltese, Casper, would have LOVED one when he got to be about 14 ~ but that just never entered my mind. Today I would get one - hands down.

Here's a situation where, I'm not gonna lie, I will secretly roll my eyes a little bit..... when someone comes into the dog park with their multiple little dogs decked in frilly dresses and being pushed into the dog park in a stroller and all are perfectly capable and healthy young dogs. Sure, it's not hurting anyone, but just... why? I don't see the point. I will reiterate the post I already made by saying I believe strollers have a place. I would not question using one if Jackson became very ill, or paralyzed, or simply getting old. Heck, I would probably consider using one if I had to bring him through the airport. I see their uses in these types of situations, hence I will not judge a random person I see with dogs in a stroller because I don't know the situation. But when I see perfectly capable and healthy dogs in them, particularly in a dog park, it definitely makes me
