| Be careful w/ harnesses/collars on while in a crate... things can get caught up easily and it could be a disaster. But yes I would suggest just only putting it on him for walks or when you guys are home and getting him used to it that way- he should grow out of it! (the chewing phase)

| My Connor is a chew hellion, too! He has chewed every harness and leash we own, even the step-in harnesses we buy. The next one is going to be a Lupine brand, because they will replace them for free even if they're chewed! Last edited by LoALAnna; 03-19-2011 at 01:24 PM. |

| I leave Hercules' harness on all day b/c I'm potty training and I need to be able to rush him outside at any minute and don't always have time to put it on him before he has an accident. I do take it off at bedtime. He uses a potty pad at night. But I don't crate him. If he is going to be home without me, which isn't very often, he spends that time in a play pen with a puppy pad.
