I am so sorry to hear of your tragic loss of Zachy. Please do not blame yourself I know this is hard to say but it was an accident. I lost my dearest Keally a little over a year ago and I always thought what if or maybe this will help. She will always be in my heart and my husband and I think of her everyday. Keally is probably with Zachy right now showing her the wonderful life they will have over that rainbow bridge. I believe they will be waiting for us when our day has ended for us. Think of all those wonderful times you had with her and best of all Zachy knew she was loved alot. Take care of my prayers are for you. Susan

Thank you to everyone who has been so kind and comforting to me with your thoughts and prayers. I came here knowing that I would be able to grieve the loss of my pet with other yorkie lovers who would understand the pain I was in. I knew I may get some negative feedback but I won't let it put me down because I know I am a loving person and loved and always will love Zach so much.

JMDT - thank you for your kind words you are always so supportive of me and understanding. I cannot thank you enough for the loving support you have given me through all my hard times that I have shared. I'ts a shame some have to pick on you when you are at your lowest. God will judge them on their judgements when it is there time. I will be forgiving for the rude remarks I get.

And Lynne, thank you again from the bottom of my heart, you have been so wonderful during this time and I cant thank you enough either. You've really helped me through this whole experience. Zach will be forever in our hearts, I just hope we can both share him at the rainbow bridge when it's our time to meet him again.

The thought of rehoming Lola came up into my head when I was beating myself up about him missing. I don't think I could go through with it, Lola is very special to me and I realize that I need her just as much as she needs me right now and it wouldn't be the right thing to do for anybody involved.

I am so sorry for your devastating loss. Your post points out that no matter how many safety precautions we take, accidents can and do happen to anyone. We just have to do what we can to try to keep them safe and enjoy ever precious minute we are blessed with them in this life on earth. I know in my heart that your little Zach will be waiting for you when your time comes to join him(hopefully many years in the future). Til then you are fortunate to still have other pets to help fill the void. I know there will always be a little hole there in your heart but also a mind full of wonderful memories and lots of love. RIP Zach!

Thank you very much. I am very fortunate to have so many wonderful memories of my precious boy and videos, pictures to look at everytime I miss him. I think I would be having a harder time if I didn't have my two girls here to help me through it. They have been so loving.

That's what friends are for. I am not here to judge it's not my way. We all love our babies and to hear that someone has lost theirs especially in such a tragic way is just heartbreaking. Stay strong. Give Lola a hug from us. She will be ok.

Nothing can prepare us for the loss of a pet but I believe you will see them again.

Oh my gosh, your story brought tears to my eyes.

I've lost 2 dogs but none like this.

Time will heal all. Don't rehome Lola, hold her and let her heal your heart.

Yes, I remember when you lost Stormy and PM'd me about getting your babies. I have tears in my eyes thinking of it... You and Lola will become so much closer!
