You are living through a terrible time in your life. My deepest sympathy to you and your husband. We are never prepared to lose our little lovebugs, but you gave your little guy a wonderful life for his too-short life.((hugs))

most of you don't know this but i was Zachy's mom before he went to live with his new mommy Paula. I was devastated when i got the news that Zach was missing and then Paula confirmed my worst fear, that he was at the rainbow bridge. I grieved when he left my home, but after some time passed and i seen how happy he was and how happy he made his new family it made me happy to know that he was there and i brought some happiness to a very special family. He was loved and very well taken care of, Paula and I will always share a very special bond thanks to Zachy.
I have never lost one of my babies and i pray that i never loose another one or that anyone ever loose's their baby in this way.

I want to thank you all for all your kind words and prayers for Paula, she has been through so much with the loss of both her babies, she is a very good mommy and did not deserve to have to go through such heart breaking situations as she has.
Paula hold your little girl Lola tight and you both will heal from this sad time in your life.

R.I.P. my sweet boy Zachy, you will be sadly missed by so many people who knew you and loved you, you were such a sweet baby boy.

I am so sorry for the tragic loss of your precious little boy. We love and protect our little ones to the very best of our ability, but still our very best efforts fail at times. You loved Zach will all of your heart and he knows that. I hope you and your family find love and comfort with Lola and that your heart heals in time.

I made some absolutely horrendous mistakes that could have cost both of my yorkies their lives. Gizmo got into some rat poison when he was a tiny pup, and then both of them got hold of a medicated pain patch and ended up at the emergency vet.

Thanks to the support of my fellow YTers, I realized that such incidents were learning opportunities not only for me, but for others on this forum. Maybe Zach's loss will save another yorkie at some point. Who knows?

The only way this experience could possibly make you a "bad" yorkie parent is if you didn't learn from it, and yet you have.

I am so sorry that you lost your Zachy also. It must be hard for you too. I have been thinking of him all day. I will keep you in my prayers also. He was your boy too! It is so nice to know that that baby had so many people who loved him. He must have been a very special little guy.

Thank you so much! Yes this has been very hard for me as well as his present mommy. He was loved so much by all of us, and we all miss him so much.
