Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I so hate groomers.! So my dolce was looking a little ruff, and I so stupidly decided to ohh take him to the groomers. I get there and I specifically stated, can u trim his body so that his fur is even, and she said oh ok, do u sandbox face robe trimmed in Teddy bear, I said sure, whatever u do, donor touch his top notch, he had a bow in his hair. She said would u like me to give him a blue bow, I said sure. I was a typical mom, waited by the phone for the call. She said dolce was ready that he did awesome for his first time. I called my Sis on the phone to keep my nerves At bay cause I just had a feeling something was going robe wrong. Get there it's a line so I run and pay and go back in, ask for my baby, and I hear he's a boy why does he have a bow, and I smile as the lady yelled bk cause his mom wants one, then I hear well the bow is off, and my smile automatically disappeared. She bring out the dog that looks like a dAmb chiuwawa(sp) I did a double tAke cause she said can u hand me a blue bow, and yes it was my baby. He wouldn't sit still so she came out of the room and asked me to hold him while she attempted to put a bow on four dAmb strands. I said politely umm what happened she says ohh did i cut too much? I said my yorkie who came in here looking like this and I showed her my phone looks like a chiuwawa. She then started to apologize that she had totally forgotten and started with his face, that she made sure it's updated in the system not to touch his FACS for next time. I then said ok. Grabbed my baby and went out to the car sat in the car and cried. I wasn't crying more so because she screwed up, but because I figured now how the heck can I go back in there Nd not make scene, and be the crazy lady. So I grabbed then phone and called the groomers from inside my car asked to speak to the manager very calmley, and by the time she got on the phone all the kindness went out the window, I went off. She too apologized and said that it was brought to her attention after the error was already made, I then told her if I wanted a dAmb chiuwawa I wouldn't have spent 1 thousand on dolce. She then said that I could come in tomorrow and speak to the district manager to get my refund, I said I am still here. Go in and ask for him he comes over and I said what does this dog look like he say umm, and I said exactly, I want my 65 dollars back. How dare they destroy my baby's hair. After I got my money we went bk to the car and I cried somemore thinking that it too his whole life 4mos to get his top notch and they took all that and more away from me. I was just too tired to clip him myself. Now look at him, I'm so distraught over this. I so need some cheering up.

| Ok I see...I probably would have put the groomer in a headloack and shaved her eyebrows off...LOL I have to say that little man is adorable!! His hair will grow back and it's not that bad of a haircut, just not what you wanted. I bet he loves you just the same. |

| I am so glad you got your money back! Dolce can totally make the look work, but the groomers really didn't listen. If it was something minor, then I'd let it go and come back with a note the next time stating exactly what I want to have done. The groomer I use left the top knot, left the hair between the eyes, but cut his bangs! I got my boy back, and he had a cute blue bow in but his bangs fanned out and you couldn't see his eyes! What's the point of his topknot if you can't see his eyes???? I forgave her since she doesn't cage my dog, and comes to me instead of me going to her. She seems like a new groomer, so she needs a bit of experience. It was nothing a hair clip couldn't fix!

| So sorry this happened, but I think you little guy looks adorable. Perhaps a good snip like this will make his hair growing like crazy, huh . He's gorgeous, give him lots of extra kisses for being mommy's good boy!

| Aww, Dolce is still adorable! He still looks like a Yorkie to me. Give him extra hugs and tell him he is your beautiful baby. He may be worried that he did something wrong. I am so sorry that the groomer didn't listen to you. If you have the time, you can learn to groom at home. It's a lot of work, but it is also rewarding. By the way, a good chihuahua costs just as much as a good Yorkie.

| That has been one of my fears since I started bring Sakura to the groomers. Everytime I drop her off I tell them no shaving. I so kind of sorta trust my groomer. She runs her dog grooming place right behind her hair cutting shop. She has cut my hair since I was little and know my whole family. But with her knowing my whole family means if something where to go wrong I wouldn't know how to react. But your little boy still looks adorable! When Sakura was still tiny my little sister (thinking she was helping) cut her... My poor little bald puppy but all her fur grew back very quickly, I was so happy when I could put her top not and bows in again. |

| So sorry you got upset. There are so many horror stories about groomers makes you understand why so many groom their own. There are times I REALLY don't feel like grooming Shadow too, so she looks pretty wild for another week. She actually shaved his face? Would scare me to death. But he's adorable and needs you to tell him so. I heard they can feel bad about how they look too. True? Who knows. Good thing is....it'll grow back. AT least it's just hair. Feel better. |

No Longer a Member | His ears are adorable! and he pulls the look off. I'm glad you got your money back, and the hair will be back in no time. You could always try grooming him yourself That way if you screw up his hair the only person you can be mad at is yourself...and you won't be out $65 |

| Just keep looking until you find a groomer you like and trust. My groomer is more protective of my kids hair then I am! Once I told her to just shave Chloe because she was totally matted following a surgery and she refused! Lol.

| I, honestly, love my groomer. She listens to whatever I ask her to do. I love the place because they don't cage any of their animals, but instead have little rooms with half doors and couches and TVs. My dogs love going. Maybe next time you should just ask to have his paws and ears trimmed only, his teeth brushed and nails trimmed and bathed - and that's all. Again, just like everyone before me said - its just hair and it will grow back before you know. He looks cute anyway so you're ahead since you got your money back.

| I found the Chihuhua comments a bit rude... we have a few people on here who have Chi's and you kept repeatedly calling them "dumb" and "stupid". A well-bred Chi costs just as much as a well-bred Yorkie and are great little dogs too. With that said, it always sucks to get a bad haircut. Jackson had two and we finally found a really good mobile groomer who comes to our house and always does exactly what I ask. I am soooo glad to have found her. I am happy with her services and so is Jackson- try to look for a mobile groomer. I like it better because it's one-on-one. I don't stay in w/ him but I can peek through the window. Your little guy still looks very adorable! And it's hair, it will grow back
