| I'm so excited! Hi everyone! I'm so excited to find this group! After spending months reading posts here and trying to educate myself on all things Yorkie, I thought I'd finally say hello My sincere thanks to all of you who share advice, recommendations, and information; it's truly been invaluable! My husband and I picked out our "Little Dude" (can't decide on a name) Valentine's weekend, and went out to visit him yesterday. He's still too small to come home, but it's amazing how much he'd grown in just a few days. Hopefully he'll be ready to join our family in mid-March. I have 3 daughters and my oldest has been literally praying for a puppy for over a year. I CAN NOT WAIT to surprise my girls (thinking of maybe presenting him in an Easter basket?); they are going to be over the moon! It's been so hard to keep everything hush-hush when I can barely keep myself from telling everyone I know about "my" new Yorkie. Because after all, even though this will be the girls' pup, we all know who will be caring for him- me. Looking forward to getting to know y'all! |

| Hi and welcome to YT. It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful Easter. Congrats on your little addition and best of luck. You will certainly find lots of great information on here. Can't wait to see pictures of your little one. Hmmm, kinda like the name Little (Lil) Dude.

| Congratulations. Though the waiting is very hard it is so much fun to watch your baby grow from birth. I was able to do this with my last baby Sassy, I knew in my heart I would eventually have her, my husband said no more dogs, but I was able to bring her home at 10 weeks old. She joined her brothers Calvin and Hobbes. I wish my mom would have put a Yorkie in my Easter basket instead of a chocolate bunny. Welcome to YT, I also like the name but I am sure your girls will have a good time finding him the perfect name.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | How exciting. Maybe since you are getting him in Mid March it could be a St. Patrick's Day puppy?

| Welcome to YT. What an exciting time it is when a new family member joins in. Since dogs are social pack animals, just let your family know your ALL his caretakers AND his pack. This way no one is left out and no one is an exclusive owner. Maybe you will get more help when all the newness wears off and no one can say "he isn't mine" when ask to scoop, brush, walk or bathe.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Its so great when you're expecting a new puppy, I wish I could get another one..but 3 is enough, 3 yorkies and 1 african grey parrot, I hit my limit.
