Congrats! He's so cute. My Max was 4 pounds at 11 weeks. He's now almost 9 months and weighs 12.5 pounds. Teapots are adorable.

aww your yorki is gonna be on the larger side. -.- my yorki was 1000$ and is an 11 pounder...im never going to that breeder again!

Alright so I took two without the flash on now that he's getting a little worn out.. One has a remote so you can kind of get the idea how big he really is.. The second is him with my pit bull Kane.. My last yorkie Sid was actually best buddies with Kane.. I have pictures of them cuddled next to eachother and him underneath.. And now this yorkie is cuddled up next to him sleeping..

The bottom picture is of my yorkie that passed away.. Sidney..

How about Cody? Is that too sissy?

Those pics are cute! You may have to tape his one ear. Don't know.

Sidney was very cute, too. I'm really sorry you lost him.

my aunt has a dog named Cody. I had wrote down like Amos, Tripper, Case... A few others i can't remember.. lol not to sissy though.. He can hold his one ear up.. it just goes up when he chooses it too it seems.. i'm not 100% certain on the whole ear thing. I know on german shepherds they can take quite awhile to raise but how long on a yorkie until you should tape it?

Sidney is the whole reason I decided I'd get another one.. I just didn't ever imagine they could be so wonderful to have. I agree what everyone said when he was too little to have been away from his mom but he was only supposed to get 2.5 lbs full grown.. Poor little guy.. So i'm glad I didn't just give up on the breed...

My Nicco was about 4 pounds at 12 weeks and is about 10 lbs at 4 years. His eyes flash green and he has a cottony coat. Did the breeder give you AKC papers to confirm his DOB? His coat isn't breaking so I'd say he is under 12-14 weeks.

My pit bull is such a sweetie. He thinks he's human.. He pouts too if he gets in trouble.. My husband picked him out.. He's a big boy too.. Almost 80 pounds.. Thinks he's a lap dog too..

Three weeks with sid and it felt like he was in our lives for about 50 years..

Didn't get any AKC papers from her. What do you mean by his coat isn't breaking? Could you explain a little further about this? Thanks!

Has there ever been a yorkie named Montana?

Yorkie ears that go up by themselves may also go down during teething and then back up again. If you think he may need help, just let us know. There's an old thread that explains how to tape them, if need be.

They are black and tan when born and the coats change starting at around 12 weeks. Nicco"s face was pretty pale as his coat started breaking. Now it is a beautiful tan. His saddle (back) is a dark silver color. No longer black like a puppy. You'll know it when it happens. As the hair grows out it will look like his head is turning white, but it should change to tan. Google puppy photos up to 2 years old. That's how long it took my yorkie"s coat to stop changing.
