NO PROBLEMS... it is all in fun. My daughter .. who was born and raised in Miami... moved to Chicago about 1 year ago. She loves the people and the city but she can not deal with the cold.... And the lack of sunshine in the winter. She has major depression issues and I think she is moving back... LadyJane.. my other daughter moved to Austin AND SHE LOVES LOVES LOVES IT!! It is warm ish.. a little southern (I am from Virginia so she was raised southern even in Miami) and the people are great. As to bug... I HATE them all!!!!! I can pay to have my house "sprayed" and make sure the bugs don't get in.... put can't pay for sunshine in the winter My whole winter wardrobe can fix in a handbag We have less snakes than Virginia, gators really don't bother us if you understand their environment ..the everglades is another story. I sure wouldn't take Remy for a walk there We live on the east coast so we don't have the snowbirds so much.. But we are really not part of the US anymore... my dh says we go to Orlando to practice english. Hey.. it is all in fun...

In a town about 30 mins south of me, there have been alligators knocking on peoples front doors with their tails. People have woken up to find gators in their kitchens, pools, and porches. No thank you! If it's fresh water in FL, assume there are gators! Never walk close to the water. | |

| I am a sunshine kind of person myself and love all the bright sunny days we have here in Texas. Sometimes in January and February when we have several dark days, I turn on lights during the day but it is not the same as Mr. Sun up and working his gig(heard some teenager somewhere say that). I love snow, though, and we used to love to travel to Colorado, Washington and Oregon to partake of all of its fun side, not the least of which was all that hot cocoa in the lodge around the fire afterward! So, Remy boy, enjoy your Sunshine State, let mom and dad continue to keep you safe as a bug in a rug, and when ya'll want some snow, you can go skiing and cocoa-drinking. |

| We have bears also, the wildlife is just awsome to watch.. I think they are all so beautiful to be able to get the chance to see them in the wild or just a big moose in your yard munchin on your lilac tree. I think that a gator is more scary than any Alaskan wildlife. |
