NO PROBLEMS... it is all in fun.
My daughter .. who was born and raised in Miami... moved to Chicago about 1 year ago. She loves the people and the city but she can not deal with the cold.... And the lack of sunshine in the winter. She has major depression issues and I think she is moving back...
LadyJane.. my other daughter moved to Austin AND SHE LOVES LOVES LOVES IT!! It is warm ish.. a little southern (I am from Virginia so she was raised southern even in Miami) and the people are great.

As to bug... I HATE them all!!!!! I can pay to have my house "sprayed" and make sure the bugs don't get in.... put can't pay for sunshine in the winter My whole winter

We have less snakes than Virginia, gators really don't bother us if you understand their environment ..the everglades is another story. I sure wouldn't take Remy for a walk there
We live on the east coast so we don't have the snowbirds so much..

But we are really not part of the US anymore... my dh says we go to Orlando to practice english.
