| ![]() I received my 6 week old fur baby, ZoE, just a couple of days ago. I thought she was awfully young to be adopted out, but having been a previous yorkie owner, I wasn't too scared. (My college aged kids bought her for me as a present now that I'm an empty-nester and I think they went for cheapest cute pup vs. quality of breeder). She too needed a quick bath shortly after arriving home, due to my own fault...I put her in her crate for less than a minute, while I was unloading items from the car & she pooped in it & got it all over herself. But a quick lukewarm bath with baby shampoo, followed by a very low heat blow dry, had her cleaned up in no time & was a nice lil bonding time for us, as I calmly talked to her & petted her through the whole experience. Getting a new puppy is so exciting! Best of luck with Harley ![]() |

| ![]() No reflection on you but Florida law states: (4) A person may not transport into the state for sale or offer for sale within the state any dog or cat that is less than 8 weeks of age. Please post the breeder or "pet store" that sold you this puppy so we will all know that they are breaking the law. ![]() |

| ![]() Congrats on your new baby boy! Can't wait to see him grow. As for sleep deprivation, I lost ten pounds when I adopted Ally, whether I needed to or not! |

| ![]() Having a little pup is just like having a baby to take care of. Hopefully, he will get to the vet soon. It's important that you have him checked out. I think I would just wash him with a cloth and then make sure he gets dry quickly so he doesn't get chilled. I think a bath can be very stressful for some dogs. I'm glad to hear he is eating well. Good luck with your precious new pup. ![]()
