I received my 6 week old fur baby, ZoE, just a couple of days ago. I thought she was awfully young to be adopted out, but having been a previous yorkie owner, I wasn't too scared. (My college aged kids bought her for me as a present now that I'm an empty-nester and I think they went for cheapest cute pup vs. quality of breeder). She too needed a quick bath shortly after arriving home, due to my own fault...I put her in her crate for less than a minute, while I was unloading items from the car & she pooped in it & got it all over herself. But a quick lukewarm bath with baby shampoo, followed by a very low heat blow dry, had her cleaned up in no time & was a nice lil bonding time for us, as I calmly talked to her & petted her through the whole experience.
