This dog looks Silky to me. I have had two Silkys and they both look just like this one in the face and Silkys are bigger than Yorkies. Just my opinion. I have pictures of my Silkys on my page if you want to see.

I was going to adopt a female adult Silky and she looked just like your pups mom. No matter if he's purebred or not, he's adorable and you love him, that's what counts. I hope you are going to have him neutered though as there are enough breeders out there and not enough people to love all those babies.

I just bought a purebred male Maltese 12 weeks old and super cute but the first thing is neutering. I don't believe in adding to the puppy population. Just loving and spoiling the ones we have. Enjoy your baby

He is adorable, I dont think it matters if he is a mix or not. as long as you love him.
All that should matter is that he is happy & healthy, as long as youguys have a happy life together thats all that matters. My opinion tho is that Yes, he is a mix I think, I think this so much because his mom looks so much like one. I dont know.

He's adorable! I can't believe how big he is at 4 months! My little guy is almost two and he's not even that big! At 4 months he was a little runt still. I'm not sure if he's pure bred but he's definitely a cutie pie! All that matters is that he's yours now and will be there to brighten your day everyday!

Your pups Mom is a Silky Terrier...a good friend of mine has a Silky and looks just like the pic of your pups Mom

Silky Terriers and Yorkies can have droopy ears if the breeder didn't Tape them up when they were pups...some pups ear will stand on there own but sometimes they need help by shaving the hair off the ear...the hair weighs them down and than taping them up.

And some silky's and Yorkies have wavey hair, just depends on what type of hair they have.

And even purebred Yorkies can weigh up to 15 lbs, So my guess is from looking at your Pic's of Mom and pup...your baby is Silky/Yorkie mix.
