| Thats another issue, I don't know why people go in business if they don't like what or who they have to work with.. I use to work as a Vet Tech and before that I worked at a groomer, I would always treat the dogs/cats that came in how I would want my animal to be treated.. I don't understand these people that have these jobs and they are just jerks... Esp the people who are nurses for older people and they just treat them like crap.. I also use to work as a caregiver, I worked in a home with 6 people 5 of them were in wheelchairs.. They all had Alzheimer's and other problems, I treated them like they were my own Grandparent. There was another caregiver, oh I hated her, when it was the end of her shift, she would just leave, All the people had dirty diapers, dirty clothes.. etc etc At this time I was 18 she was in her late 30's... I couldn't believe it.. I felt so bad for them, if you do that job you have to have some compassion for them, and its also common sense and RESPECT! People drive me nuts!! This world is honestly running out of good people!

| How awful! Thankfully my breeder also does grooming from her home so I know Stormy is well taken care of. The only downfall is that we talk forever so it takes a long time to drop her off and pick her up ha. |

| Sorry Peanut was treated so horribly! I have no idea why people like that go into a business where they are going to be handling people's pets. It is traumatic enough for our pups to go to a groomer without them treating them badly. I have tried most of the groomers in our town. For a small town we have many. W have a small grooming school here so I think that has a lot to do with it. I had one lady treat my pups like your experience but she groomed well. It didn't matter, I won't go back. I thought of her as soon as I read how that groomer held your Peanut out away from her. That is how the groomer here handed my Ben back to me -- one-handed and never brought him close to her at all. He was sort of thrashing around when holding him more securely could have calmed him. I have also gone to another where they made me feel good about leaving him, only to return to a terrible grooming job. But.....I am lucky as we do have one really fantastic groomer nearby that takes special care with them, making them comfortable and also does a beautiful job with the grooming. I just wish she didn't require us to leave the pups so long. They all must be dropped off first thing in the morning as she has a shampooer come in early. Then she grooms them one by one and it is often late in the afternoon before I get them back. It is worth it though to know they are shown some love while they are going through their ordeal. The best deal I had was a mobile grooming lady that came to the house. She was a little bit of a thing and as sweet as could be with my pups. You could tell she loved animals. She also did a beautiful job of grooming and charged no more than what I was paying at the shops. She said she had no overhead, so why charge more. I loved that as all of the other mobile groomers around here seem to charge twice what the shops do -- makes no sense! Unfortunately my great mobile grooming lady moved to CO or AZ, can't remember which. Someone out that way will have a great groomer tho.

| Awhile back I was looking around for a new groomer. One groomer told me if there was something about my groomer that I did not like to talk to her about it. I didn't take that advice. I had someone else groom them and they looked horrible and Buster was really stressed when she finished. They now go back to the original groomer who is a dog person and a dog lover. And now, I don't mind telling her what I want done, it might not be exactly what I want but they always look cute. The best part is she is good to my babies and understands that Buster has issues and takes special care with him. I won't be looking again.
