| ![]() do you have a target, walmart, any kind of store like that. A department store... a onsie is the little one piece tshirt with snaps that you put on an infant. |

| ![]() Ally is 3 lbs 2 oz and fits in a newborn. Of course, they are sized differently. Find a really short one. I don't think the 0-3 months will work though. If you know of a thrift shop nearby, stop by there too. They make great pajamas also. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() If they have the preemie size , you might get a better fit. Some of the Wal Marts carry them, as do the Carters Outlet stores. Another thing that may help is asking your vet about having them apply a liquid bandage over the sutures. It's quick and painless and will help protect the area if the licking is persistent.

| ![]() you can get one at the thrift store, a baby store, Kmart or Walmart. They will probaly be in a 3 pack in the regular stores and they will be back in the infant clothes section. Good luck

| ![]() I did not use a cone at all and Ben's stitches healed super quick and were never even red. He occasionally would lick but not obsessively. I think the cone should be held as a "just in case" situation. If they do over-lick, then you can torture them with it. This is unless there was a special circumstance the vet required the collar for. I have never used the cone for spays either. But I have never had an incision site that got infected or angry red either. If that happens, the dog will probably lick more. I love the idea of the soft collar Mom to Hot Rod sells. If you have one going into surgery, I think it would be a good idea to get one, and you could ask, she might be able to send one out overnight or Priority which arrives pretty quick.

| ![]() Sorry you little one and you are going thru this. What you want to do is keep him away from his incision site while it is open and healing. This will take a couple of days. For his size, I would recommend getting a premie onsize. You can put it on him backwards so his tail is sticking out the snap part. At his size, if you have a tube sock or a large cotton men's sock, try cutting the toe part out and slide it over him. As suggested, make sure with your vet that the material against the inicision will not be a problem. This can cause more irritation and make the site raw as well as the licking. Best of luck to you and if you change your mind on a collar, click on the second have the link in my signature and feel free to private message me. It has more uses that just for after neutering. I do offer priority shipping and overnight shipping. Hope he and you feel better quickly. Bo

| ![]() First of all, he would get used to the E collar if you left it on him. But, since you are that bothered by it, call your vet and ask for the cream they use to deter licking. I believe it is bitter apple, but not sure. I just know it works! Also, if his penis stays out and does not go back in, take him to the vet! If it is only out for short times, no big deal. You definitely don't want him to lick the surgical area...he can remove the sutures and also get an infection. Good luck! ![]()
