If they have the preemie size , you might get a better fit. Some of the Wal Marts carry them, as do the Carters Outlet stores.
Another thing that may help is asking your vet about having them apply a liquid bandage over the sutures. It's quick and painless and will help protect the area if the licking is persistent.
