Sorry you little one and you are going thru this. What you want to do is keep him away from his incision site while it is open and healing. This will take a couple of days.

For his size, I would recommend getting a premie onsize. You can put it on him backwards so his tail is sticking out the snap part. At his size, if you have a tube sock or a large cotton men's sock, try cutting the toe part out and slide it over him.

As suggested, make sure with your vet that the material against the inicision will not be a problem. This can cause more irritation and make the site raw as well as the licking.
