| Different breeds have different needs and different qualities, so I don't blame you for sticking with a handler that knows and works exclusively with the breed that you show. You would have to put a lot of trust and faith into a person to allow them to handle your joys.

| They are only worth 8500 or 9000 if someone is willing to pay. And you know the line, "there's a sucker born every minute."

| Then call me sucker, because I would pay that if that person was the best, had the best, and I wanted it. Sure it is a lot of money, but not as much money as you may wind up putting into your dog down the road. Let's just say that Carlo's medical bills so far total enough for me to have paid cash for a new Harley VROD, and we are no where done. Maxine has had 2 bouts of Pancreatitis, Dentals, etc. Special food, it adds up. There are great dogs out there that can be had for free....Price of the dog from a reputable breeder should be the last of your concern. |

My leg with thru the Drywall and I landed on the 2x12 joist.....OUCH to say the least and I was no walking very straight for a few days! Naturally, I am now forbidden to go up there! |

| I was very intrigued by all that I read. When I first thought that a Yorkie might be for me I based my decision on personal interaction with the ones I knew. The future had other plans for me and I went into the Navy. Now years later I decided to revisit that dream. This time I went at it eyes wide open. I have 4 different books on Yorkies and their care, a Home Veternaery guide and had my account on here about 3 months before I even picked my little one from the breeder. I know that they have a long life span and I wanted to make sure that it was the right match for me. I will keep these little ones (I got 2) until they pass away. Unless we meet with huge financial issues that cause me not to be able to provide for them. I think everyone should solidly research whatever breed they pick to make sure that they completely are aware of all that might be coming their way.

| Thats a CRAZZY price to pay! I dont agree with smaller yorkies being more expensive altho some breeders do this as they know smaller breeds are in demand, and alot of people who dont do research do think the smaller the better... shame Maybe we should send her an email with the link to this thread, maybe she will wake up and realise that selling puppies for that price is terrible and she should be ashamed of herself for selling puppies that small!!!
