I was very intrigued by all that I read. When I first thought that a Yorkie might be for me I based my decision on personal interaction with the ones I knew. The future had other plans for me and I went into the Navy.
Now years later I decided to revisit that dream. This time I went at it eyes wide open. I have 4 different books on Yorkies and their care, a Home Veternaery guide and had my account on here about 3 months before I even picked my little one from the breeder.

I know that they have a long life span and I wanted to make sure that it was the right match for me. I will keep these little ones (I got 2) until they pass away. Unless we meet with huge financial issues that cause me not to be able to provide for them.

I think everyone should solidly research whatever breed they pick to make sure that they completely are aware of all that might be coming their way.
