| don't let me near her I may kiss her to death, what a wee dolly. All girls need pink and glamour. Get her on a good high protein dry without soy or wheat and keep an eye on her teeth for tartar if you are feeding her wet food. Talk to your vet about brushing her teeth. |

| Can I ask why groomers wait until pups are a certain age, is it to do with shots? Try buying some baby scissors with round edges, that's what I did and trimmed up Teegy's face when I got him. My friend helped me trim his ears with a little set of electric clippers and be sure to trim her claws, I use my own nail clippers for that. |

| YT Addict | She eats a mix of wet food and dry food right now. and she gets her teeth brushed 2 or 3 times a week! i'm on it! i also have a habit of wiping her but with baby wipes after she poops. LOL. i'm anal about her and everything for that matter being sUPER clean. and yes, they wait until the series of shots is complete. my poor little girl looks all scruffy! i am SOO scared to trim her. i did trim a little bit of the hair around her butt, because her poop was getting caked in her fur and i couldn't have that! but even just that little but was HARD to do with her. and i'm TERRIFIED of cutting her nails! after i saw that pedi-paw commercial where it shows if you cut too deep it can hurt them, i vowed never to cut my dogs nails. i really want to cut some fur off of her feet so she has a better grip on the floor. who knows if she'll stay still long enough for me to do that. right now miss Hazel is growling and barking at me. because i won't pick her up and bring her on the bed with me. what a brat! |

| YT Addict | Today i learned a trick... i was puttin on my belt and Hazel was watching the end of it... i knew she had to pee cuz i just let her out the crate... so i lured her onto the pee pad with the belt and played with her on it for a few seconds until she went. this has worked 2 times so far. i think she was regressing, she had started peeing EVERYWHERE that wasn't the puppy pad. i will keep trying this! |

| Ooo clever Keep it going and in no time she will go on pee pad. Poppy just poops and wee's where ever she wants, i am finding it sooo hard to train her because she goes potty sooo fast normaly on the other side of the room where i cant get to her in time. I have kept a close eye on her tonight and when i thought she wanted to go i'd pick her up and put her on her puppy pad and say ''go potty''. She tried to run off but i kept putting her back and she did a poo on her pad... i went crazy with praise and giving her ALOT of attention so 10mins later she ran onto the pad and did a wee wee and again i gave her soooo much praise. I very much doubt she has got it tho and will probs do a wee or poo on he floor later tonight haha. But i'll keep at it and i hope to get there with her.... shes only 6weeks old so i wont expect to much xxxx

| Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Poppy was the same.. when I first brought her home she was AMAZING with her potty pads, then after a couple of weeks she started to ignore them. Just be patient and she will learn, Poppy ignored them for a week or so and now shes back to going on them 90% of the time... we have now started to take her outside every hour for potty so she dosnt go inside much anymore. Also I would recommend training treats... I give Poppy lots of praise but have learned that shes a little porker and will do just about anything for a treat
