I've been here a long time - I've seen it once and then was deleted. It's not that no one uses it in real life - but if you read the rules here - you can get banned if you cuss edited to add- good luck with the puppy searches

| Then why go through the "trouble" of registering the litter at all? Sounds like you need to make a list of questions to ask. |

the thing is...we all LOVE our yorkies soo much that we don't want these terrible breeders selling off the entire breed for cheap. what i mean is that if enough BYB keep breeding dogs with no standards then eventually this beautiful dog that you and I both adore will no longer exist. intead some other mixed up breed will step in and take it's place and the yorkie will be forever GONE. i don't want that to ever happen, so i do not support bad breeders and only support ones that are honestly breeding to keep those beautiful little dogs perfect and alive. does that kinda make more sense? i mean no disrespect i'm really just trying to show you the bigger picture that i've learned since i made my choice a year ago.

The OP is a tough cookie. Stop attacking everyone on her behalf. You and the OP are now both disrespecting people who, at times may come across very strong because they are passionate, but are only looking out for your best interests.

![]() ![]() yup ....Been here for years now - Back when it was smaller I always made sure to post on photos and to new people - it adds up that's for sure - we used to have a ton of fun staying up all night sometimes joking around. I used to make avatars here which caused a huge increase in the embarrassing post count I have....and believe me - I WANT someone to pass me ![]() I was also my husbands 'caregiver' before he died so YT was kind of my break from real life - I've made some great friends over the years and the majority of people here have alot of compassion. There's alot more to this place then what you see posted -we have people who dedicate their lives to saving pets and trying to help others. Breeders who stay up all night with people helping them when in crises and others that are like me - who just love dogs (especially yorkies) and find it fun to be with others who have similar interests. We may not agree with things that get said but in the big picture - we all want the same thing - for everyone to have happy healthy pets and an end to all the mills and bad breeders out there. If someone like RachelandSadie can come on here and share what she did - then it's worth it to have some of the same things said over and over - maybe not in one thread lol - but certain things need to be repeated No one wants to see someone get a new puppy only to be faced with heartache. That should be a happy time not stressful and we're seeing too many people who are dealing with severe issues now that the whole world seems to be breeding yorkies because they're 'popular' now.

Someone that hasn't taken the time to research standard. How to pick a breeder and a pup. Doesn't know that a reputable breeder doesn't place a puppy in a home until 12 weeks and over 2 pounds or that one that doesn't reach that weight should not placed and not sold. Yep! they are paying to much even if the price is $500.00 it's too much, because a reputable breeder wouldn't sell a tiny. Bottom line what will be will be and bottom line is it is the dog in the end that suffers because of disreputable breeders that take advantage of the unsuspecting, unknowledgable public. These breeders appear to be nice; tell you anything you want to hear, just to make the sale......

As do you Mardelin. I learned a lot from both of you in the time I lurked around this board before joining. The responses given on any thread, while aimed at the OP, end up educating a lot of other people. And obviously, messages need to be repeated because the same questions keep getting asked over and over in various threads. The stuff being talked about here is NOT common knowledge, otherwise we wouldn't have a problem with things like puppy mills, byb's and sick dogs. Honestly people, this is the internet. Put your big girl panties on before you come post. Just because you don't like the answer being given doesn't mean it's wrong or that someone is being mean. If you don't like an answer, skip over it and move on.

| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | You are right. I should have phrased that line better. By repeat I didn't necessarily mean in the same post, but rather the same message gets posted in various threads because the message it's self is worth repeating. And I am following your advice on this one, too.
