the thing is...we all LOVE our yorkies soo much that we don't want these terrible breeders selling off the entire breed for cheap. what i mean is that if enough BYB keep breeding dogs with no standards then eventually this beautiful dog that you and I both adore will no longer exist. intead some other mixed up breed will step in and take it's place and the yorkie will be forever GONE. i don't want that to ever happen, so i do not support bad breeders and only support ones that are honestly breeding to keep those beautiful little dogs perfect and alive.
does that kinda make more sense? i mean no disrespect i'm really just trying to show you the bigger picture that i've learned since i made my choice a year ago. |
I know you're attempting to advise this person. However, we all know that some are going to do what they are going to do. Save yourself the stress and let them do it.
Someone that hasn't taken the time to research standard. How to pick a breeder and a pup. Doesn't know that a reputable breeder doesn't place a puppy in a home until 12 weeks and over 2 pounds or that one that doesn't reach that weight should not placed and not sold. Yep! they are paying to much even if the price is $500.00 it's too much, because a reputable breeder wouldn't sell a tiny.
Bottom line what will be will be and bottom line is it is the dog in the end that suffers because of disreputable breeders that take advantage of the unsuspecting, unknowledgable public. These breeders appear to be nice; tell you anything you want to hear, just to make the sale......
