were you saying 12oz. at 6 weeks? i want to be clear on it and not say anything if that's not what you meant. if that is what you meant that's a pretty small baby. i would personally reconsider a breeder like that if I were you. i know you want to go look and see, but from experience once you see a baby pup you're going to want it so much that you might be blinded by the truth and get one anyways. i did that with Sadie. i saw a picture of her and fell in love and nothing anyone said could change my mind. it was made up and i closed off to all advice. i supported a bad breeder and i feel really regretful from that. this is not to make you feel like crap, i'm just telling you what happened to me. i don't want you thinking that we all hate you on here because we don't, we are simply people who have done this thing before you and we are trying our best to save you from our mistakes. think of it this way. we are a lot like mothers trying to teach a teenage daughter something that will save them from making the same mistake. it breaks a mother's heart to see her child suffer when she could have prevented it. so that's what i'm doing for you, i'm honestly trying to prevent heartache and financial burdens for you in the long run. i know what can happen and does happen when you don't listen because i thought all the veterans on here were stupid at one time and hated them so much for telling me Sadie's breeder was a bad one...but i learned the hard way that they were right. it sucks to come back on here telling them all that they were right and that your little one is sick and has LP and a lifetime of troubles. sure i love her, but i could have gotten a dog for a few more hundred dollars from a perfect breeder and have no health problems or i could have rescued another puppy from a shelter. either way it would have been a better choice than supporting and giving money to a bad man out there to produce puppies for money and not because he wants to create healthy pefect yorkies.

the thing is...we all LOVE our yorkies soo much that we don't want these terrible breeders selling off the entire breed for cheap. what i mean is that if enough BYB keep breeding dogs with no standards then eventually this beautiful dog that you and I both adore will no longer exist. intead some other mixed up breed will step in and take it's place and the yorkie will be forever GONE. i don't want that to ever happen, so i do not support bad breeders and only support ones that are honestly breeding to keep those beautiful little dogs perfect and alive.

does that kinda make more sense? i mean no disrespect i'm really just trying to show you the bigger picture that i've learned since i made my choice a year ago.
