Remember this is an open forum and anyone can post. You can't control how they post as long as they aren't bashing you and using foul language as already been done on this thread and not by long time members, but new ones. I suggest you read the following link. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...d-respect.html

You're family must have been an exception to the rule as nearly all the foster dogs I have had and all the rescues I've adopted are the easiest, most wonderful dogs imaginable. My best agility dog was a rescue that I started training when she was seven years old. I also try to tell people who work and don't have anyone who can check on a puppy during the day to please consider an adult. One thing many people don't or haven't mentioned is really how great it is to have a relationship with a breeder. The IG I have that I got from someone I consider a great breeder, both in the dogs she is producing (good temperaments, health and movement of the dogs) and what she trys to do for educating people about the breed, is also a good friend. She is the first person I've contacted when anything happened to Opal, good or bad, or I had any questions about IGs. She was soooo proud when Opal got her first agility title. We have always communicated with each other and when I want another puppy, she is the person I will get one from. That is, if I can quit adopting rescues Lizzy, my YT is a rehome to me and she is probably the reason I will always have a YT too. She is a great little dog.

And you have no right to say who can post and who cannot. No one is trying to "stir stuff back up". You won't be the only one that reads this thread, even though you started it. There are a lot of people that never join or log in, but they do read here and hopefully the good advice that you were given will be helpful to them as well. We ALL have a right to post on whatever thread we choose, as long as the rules are followed and no one is getting personally attacked. If you didn't want any opinions or advice that isn't in total agreement with your thinking, then you are much better off not posting questions on a public forum, where it's expected that folks will chime in with their experiences and wisdom. No need to attack with curse words, or sarcasm, it only makes you look petty and immature. Everyone here is only doing their best to help preserve this wonderful breed, and also to HELP owners and prospective owners from purchasing puppies that are sickly and so far off standard as to be unrecognizable. If there was some repetition, it's only because everyone cares very much and wants to make sure that WHOEVER is reading these posts gets the whole spectrum of information. Good luck with your puppy search. The only advice I have comes from my own experience----You can get a puppy for less money than the usual price from a reputable breeder, but you won't save a DIME. You will end up spending ten times that amount(or more) on vet care. If you are extremely lucky, the puppy will survive and live a normal life. If luck is not with you, you could be mourning the loss of a precious little life, or be facing very expensive and painful surgeries or other medical care for conditions which are hereditary. Backyard breeders and puppy mills don't CARE if they keep producing pups that are sick, as they won't honor any health guarantee they give. They'll wiggle out of it! As long as people keep buying these puppies, they'll always be in business, to the tune of extreme misery for their breeding dogs, as well as the offspring produced. Now, if you don't like what I've said, or disagree with it, that's FINE We can't all agree all the time, but I will say that if 99/100 people are saying the same thing, your disagreeing with it doesn't make them wrong.

|
whatever you do, you had better not disrespect Mardelin. she is one of the best and most reputable breeders on this forum and I personally will not stand by and allow her to be disrespected. i'm not saying that you did here, but I am warning you that I will not tolerate it.
Whoa, Mardelin doesn't need protecting - she' quite capable of doing that herself. Your other words are rather theatening... be careful.
