:yorkietal I love YorkieTalk too. I have made some wonderful life long friends on this forum. YT is more than about yorkies, it is also about sharing our goals, our inspirations, our joy, our sadness, our grief and so much more. It is also very educational and entertaining at times. :) :thumbs up Thanks to Admin and all the moderators for a job well done. I know it is a difficult job. :bravo: Bravo to those that share their wisdom and convictions. Bravo to those that stick around to learn. :santa: Merry Christmas to everyone, I pray everyone has a wonder holiday, whatever it may be and a prosperous and blessed New Year. :ghug: |

Merry Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! Hope the new year brings peace and wonderful things to your lives! And a tiny piece of wisdom that sure has made my life easier: “Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die.” |
[QUOTE=jp4m2;3364586]I just wanted to say.....There's always going to people out there that will test our patience and understanding. How we respond to another's views and opinions has a lot to to with each of our own unique make up of sensitivities, life experiences, differing personalities, expectations, fears, and our attitudes. These qualities will determine our ability and capacity to show others respect, understanding, compassion, humility, patience and strength when confronted with these situations. .....Sometimes we will never have a complete understanding of every situation. When you notice someone is wrong or may not share the same views as you, let it go if it’s not a life & death situation. The uneasiness left lingering in the air over a small matter of opinion is not always worth the discomfort of continued confrontations. Every opinion, reaction, perception, and preference is not important, necessary, or kind to reveal. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and in the coming year we all gain some peace, hope and many blessings!!.....:thumbup: Beautifully said....... |
I just want to say that some of my best friendships here have been forged through an initial disagreement. I try not to set my feelings in stone, especially with the little things. It just isn't worth it and who knows.....you may change your mind about something and find a good friend along the way. Have a wonderful holiday, everyone....and try to love your fellow man as much as you love your Yorkies :). |

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too -- along with all my YT friends and future friends! |
Disagreement, yes...absolutely! Nastiness? NO. Absolutely NOT. Nobody deserves that. I can agree to disagree in a calm, kind, civil manner. What I have seen posted to those here is NOT that. |

If one is looking for the negative.....they'll find it easier than weeding through and finding the positive. |

Turn up the compassion is the name of this thread, I see it has gone off course. Happy Heart!!!!! |

BTW -- I think I had confused new members and you are not looking for a puppy now -- sorry about the confusion. I have often mistaken one member for another or thought a member reminded me of someone else. Sometimes I have even found they are another person! But I am usually late to pick up on those kinds of things. I even call my sons by each other's names -- so confusion is not always limited to the forum. |

Which is why nastiness begets more nastiness easier than kindness begets more kindness. This thread is a perfect example. The angry people have sucked others in to thier mood, but the Cheerfull people are struggling just to remain cheerful. As for me I keep falling off the fence and climbing back up on it. Tis the season to be jolly. :D |
