Well that is sad. Out my entire post, the line you put in red is what you focused on? Really? Have a Merry Christmas JeanieK. Usually you see Matthew 7:1 quoted about judging not, but I like John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." or if you use the New Living Translation "Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly." or the NIV: "Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment." But enough of that -- I don't want to be judging anyone right now. I have planned to have a good positive day. I was hoping I could help others maybe look at things from a different perspective. That is not always possible but it need not spoil our outlook or ruin what is promising to be a great day. Gotta run for now -- things to do and fun to have! I'll probably check in later. Rock on YorkieTalk! |

That's interesting. I got the idea you like to argue when you really didn't care one way or another. Normally, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, but arguing just for the sake of arguing, when others feel so strongly about many of the problems affecting the breed and the forum seems a little like "spot stirring". Not saying you shouldn't do it, but just saying that others should be aware of your own admission. It's so easy to debate well, when we aren't emotionally invested. |

That being said, I know that sometimes I dispense with the areas I DO agree on, and focus just on the parts I don't, and I think that can give people the impression that I don't respect them. I also feel strongly that people should always try to be civil to each other, and it's been hard for me to accept that YT isn't always like that. But things don't have to be perfect for them to be wonderful. |
HO HO HO Merry Christmas!!! Santa will be here before we know it!! Can't wait to sit by the fire Christmas night and reflect on this joyous time of the year :) |

I have always been upset when people tell others to be "ashamed of themselves." Those are very unkind words. I have always admired Barney, because she's one of the vendors that does have strong convictions, and isn't on YT just to sell stuff. So YT isn't just a business venture for her. BRAVO! |
:thumbs_up It was not long before I realized there was a history with many here as well as anywhere else in life. What is posted does not always reflect the whole story. There is often a "between the lines" intent, "left-over" grudges, alterior motives, or sometimes just such a long list of previous "axes ground" that it is difficult to read the words for themselves. Not speaking of any particular individual or thread -- just saying don't be too quick to make decisions about members. The stories are often long and entwined. I don't want this to sound too negative. It is just a fact of life and not something unique to this forum. We have the best of the best here and it is well worth the time to determine who they really are. |

And it has nothing to do with anyone's religious beliefs. |

This entire thing is just about that other thread .. it was NOT started to spread good cheer and/or be compassionate. It is about some people pointing their fingers at who they see as mean and/or bullies, yet they don't see that they are themselves acting just as badly or worse than what they are accusing others of being. This all started over a bad breeder thread...and sorry if it offends some, but that thread was on target. That ad for that puppy was disgusting and if the breeders who are friendly with that breeder want to stick with her, it tells me more than I want to know about them as well. She was not bashed...the truth was laid out for all to see; but since she is friends with certain people it was deemed a bashing. And...for how many days has this carried on? Seriously people...it really should stop now. You cannot sit and talk trash and thinly veil it with words of compassion. It's like putting lipstick on a pig. |

I think it is pretty low for you to insert yourself into my business which is none of yours. But since you brought it up, let's talk about my business. You are not required to purchase from me nor is anyone. But, you'd be missing out. Many vendors here look up to my business practices and some have even asked to work with me. I have some of the most favorable seller reviews on YT, treat my customers very nicely and make beautiful items with my bare hands. My business is donating a portion of our pajama proceeds this holiday season to Yorkie Haven Rescue, and although they don't know it yet, I am making a personal match. I guess they know it now. |

I usually *try* to stay out of all of this- but I do want to say one thing. Cathy is one of the best sellers here on YT- beyond the fact that her items are beautiful and top quality- her service is one of a kind. She goes above and beyond to make sure that the items are exactly what you wanted. She went WAY out of her way to make sure a diaper I ordered fit Chloe, taking back one that was already made and making me a totally new one free of charge- when it wasn't her fault at all that it hadn't fit the first time. Aside from her business, she is very active here and always willing to help someone or stand up for what she thinks is right. I truly hope everyone has a nice Christmas- I am heading to the movies with the rest of the Jews ;) |
