From what I've gathered, this is, definitely, a Yorkie trait...Mine can't settle down, 'till they've scratched, circled, scratched, circled, and scratched, one more time, and one more circle lol...then they plop down, and are out for the count...For the person who mentioned not needing an alarm clock...I, totally, understand...Apple is my alarm clock, and she goes off anywhere from 4:30-6:30...And, no matter what time it is, Buzz looks up like "oh man, do we really have to get up now" lol...He'd sleep 'till noon, I'm sure of it...No chance w/Applekins...

We have 3 yorkies and they all sleep with us in a King size water bed. They all do the same thing scratch, circle ,scratch some more lay down get back up and scratch some more. My husband says says they are as bad as me as far as not getting still. We just love it
