| Update: The Vet KILLED My Lexie & I SUED him!!! Yes as the title states. I cannot give any details to what has happened or any names as I choose not too. Let this be a lesson to all those who get overly confident and comfortable with life. My prays were answered and my baby will forever be remembered and loved. I have a 2 puppies named after her. Lexia and Luxy... I really didn't want to withdraw the College of Veterinarians claim but did. It was already filed so maybe they will still look into his practice. http://leeshas.com/yorkie/images/LexieRIP.jpg

| so sorry and this is why i am a BIG advocate that pet owners educate themselves as too many are too trusting of professionals and they cannot possibly know everything about everything. If it is a more serious thing then you get to a specialist immediately it will save you money in the long run. I use to be trusting and it almost cost me my dogs life too but acted fast and got my dog to a specialist and he is alive today because of it. After that i started spending the past 4 years educating myself and helping others as it scared me to put that much faith and trust into one individual. I hope this will encourage others to educate themselves as well |

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...-my-lexie.html I just don't want to get into the details of what he did as everything that I was told by another vet is exactly what went wrong.

| I'm so sorry for your loss......But I'm glad you held him accountable for his incompetence. More people need to do this to stop bad vets. A while back I also lost one of my precious babies to an incompetent vet but I settled out of court. I just wanted him to know I felt he was responsible.....It is such a horrible feeling to know you put your trust in a medical professional and then to have this happen........I certainly don't trust so blindly anymore...........

| Thanks for the update... I think of Lexie and you often. Losing them is always so unfair and sad. I hope the puppies can bring you some happiness....

This is exactly how I felt. From the beginning I told my Lawyer that it wasn't about the money but about principle. This is why I had a hard time withdrawing the CVO claim. They assured me that what has happened to him will definitely be a lesson. I wanted him to feel my pain as he told me she was perfectly healthy but then killed her. I am search for someone that really cares and is not in it for the money. The claim has been settled. The only regret I have is withdrawing the CVO claim. However I was advised that even though we withdraw the claim they may still look into his practice. Not only that but he has been sued and this is on his records. Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
