| The vet killed my lexie!!!! She went in for minor spading and other things & came out DEAD. Can I sue the vet for this!! It was neglect on his part. He should have known the dangers to anesthesia! I just found out or I would have warned him. Taking form a site: "These Yorkies are more likely to have problems with anesthesia and often require special (and usually expensive) medical test before doctors can perform procedures."

| I am so sorry for your loss. Honestly, I don't think there is anything you can do. Did she have blood work done prior to the surgery? Was she a small girl? Sadly, there are risks to any type of surgery and sometimes no matter how good the vet is things go wrong. Most vets have you sign a waiver before the surgery. |

| I'm sorry that you lost your little girl. I do not think you can sue your vet. You sign papers stating that you realize that death is one of the risks on any major surgery. "Spaying" is major surgery. Did they ask if you wanted a blood test done first? I'm sorry that you are suffering right now, but suing is not going to bring her back, and the money is not going to make you feel better so what would be the point in suing? |

| Sorry for your loss, I echo what others have said regarding the consent form, this will likely waive your right to sue, but I don't think that's the answer to be honest. Take some time. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Sometimes there are deaths in surgeries. Dogs and humans, there is not much that can be done if the little body rejected it. This is a freak accident, I am sure the vet feels horrible. So sorry for your loss of Lexie. |

I will not sue. I guess I'm just mad at this point and my heart aches. She is buried in my back yard and I think her other doggie friends know. I loved her sooooo much as she was my first dog. | |
