so sorry and this is why i am a BIG advocate that pet owners educate themselves as too many are too trusting of professionals and they cannot possibly know everything about everything. If it is a more serious thing then you get to a specialist immediately it will save you money in the long run.
I use to be trusting and it almost cost me my dogs life too but acted fast and got my dog to a specialist and he is alive today because of it. After that i started spending the past 4 years educating myself and helping others as it scared me to put that much faith and trust into one individual.
