| I only take mine off for meals. The clinking against the bowl is annoying. Right afer meals he sits still so i can put them back on. Too cute....His little eyes suck you into his little face and you can't help but smile |

| very true Joey and Tank used to chew, but outgrew it within a few weeks after we got them...I think it's just the initial getting used to the collar.

| I buy my tags here: Boomerang Pet Tags: Guaranteed to last. Mailed today, Free Shipping. and I buy the plastic ones. they are thick and tough and very lightweight as well. No noise either ![]() If you are concerned about the tag getting caught then you can use the collar tag, it slides onto the collar and doesn't hang down. My dad used to use them on his hunting dogs. |

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Think I posted the link before here but I just got a coupon code for 18% off at: Pet Tags: Dog tags, Dog Collars, Pet Id Tags, Cat Tags, Dog Name Tags & Pet Collars from America's Favorite Pet Tag Code is: ZF62S4SX My email said this is for "loyal customers" so I don't know if it will work for someone if they haven't ordered before - but my experience with these types of codes is that they will work.

| I always buy the heart ones, size medium for the small dogs. I bought the small once for Kizzie (3.5 pounds) but it wasn't large enough for the info and I couldn't read it..lol.. I also like these: Two-sided Pet Tags : Kings Kreations They are fun, you can pick patterns, use your own, and even pick the fonts. I have gotten the small and the large, I like the large more, for the dogs over 4 pounds they are fine too. They have enamel over them so they don't make noise and they last pretty good so far. I have used them just for their chip info on a couple of my dogs because I hate the ones from AVID and home again and they already had the plastic ones. I like that I can put stuff on both sides of the plastic ones from boomerang. Then I put the chip info on there plus my number and on the back I put REWARD |

| So does everyone put a collar on their pup with a tag on it or do you use a harness with a tag on it. I would feel better with a harness/tag, but am not sure it would be all that comfortable.

A harness is more for going on the leash, not something to be worn all the time. When a harness is put on the collar stays on.. Some people don't though I suppose. The harness wouldn't be to comfortable to wear all the time I would think. plus, more wear on their coat. | |

| Check out J.B. Pets online. They have collars you can get personalized with your dog's name, address, etc. They have some very neat things and the prices are reasonable. |

| Come, stay, chips, they are all great until they don't work. Any dog is capable of running after something that is just too much to resist, and mine recently snuck out the door and ran next door to see his friends. He just kept banging on the screen door till it let go. A tag is something anyone can read and call the number. Ruger's has his name on it and my number. Sure, if he gets away and someone decides to steal him there isn't much I can do about it, but most people around here read tags and call the owner, and it's pretty rare when he gets away from me. It's just one small aluminum tag I got a Petco. If I hang all his tags, rabies, license, etc. around his neck he won't be able to move. Of course, it would act like an anchor and keep him put. |
