I always buy the heart ones, size medium for the small dogs. I bought the small once for Kizzie (3.5 pounds) but it wasn't large enough for the info and I couldn't read it..lol..

They are fun, you can pick patterns, use your own, and even pick the fonts. I have gotten the small and the large, I like the large more, for the dogs over 4 pounds they are fine too. They have enamel over them so they don't make noise and they last pretty good so far.
I have used them just for their chip info on a couple of my dogs because I hate the ones from AVID and home again and they already had the plastic ones.
I like that I can put stuff on both sides of the plastic ones from boomerang. Then I put the chip info on there plus my number and on the back I put REWARD
