| ![]() This is why people don't want to stay in a forum.....I agree people here can be hard too....Choose words more carefully and READ all the words...This was like a game of post office. We all try to do our best and we all have our own situations....Don't judge |

| ![]() I believe the legal time limit has expired for her previous owners to claim her . Call the animal control or the PD and ask. If it has you need not worry where she came from. You did what is required by law and times up. Now she's yours. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() Thanks for the update. I am so glad she is safe with the lady and is either being taken care of until her owners are found or well on her way to adjusting to her new home. Good job!

| ![]() I wish people would just let this thread DIE. It is of no use at this juncture. The OP did not .... and does not need help. There are many people on this sick and injured forum that DO need help. This dog really never was sick and/or injured...that was not really the reason for the post. Why do people continue to post on here and not post on the really sick ones that DO need help??? Why is it that controversy gets more attention? Every time you post on here, it takes attention from something important. OP...please ask them to close this thread. It serves no purpose. You did what you did and it is done. The pup is in a home..case closed. Thank you.

Personally, I don't think this thread has anything to do with you. If you don't wish to read it, don't. It has a very touching story line to it and indeed involves a lost, starving Yorkie. Just because it didn't go your way does not give you the right to ask the OP to close it. There is no controversy here, only discussions. Not everyone has the same thought, however, is entitled to voice his own opinion. This little one is now safe, which is what everyone wanted in the first place. We all have a right to choose which threads we wish to read and which to comment on. I don't get get involved in threads that go in the wrong direction but somehow your post was a little strong in telling people to stop reading this and go elsewhere. I don't think that should be your call at all.

hahah Ok...I still think it does not belong in the Sick and Injured Forum. There are SO MANY people needing real help in this forum.

I totally agree with you. But, not all of us are qualified to help other's in need, however, we are all qualified to praise threads like this that come to the aid of the homeless, helpless dogs in need.

| ![]() I am so grateful the yorkie was picked up by someone like you. I can't think of any other things that you can be doing. You are doing all the right things. God bless you and yours. Rontiss, boobah and tiny gina

| ![]() Ahhhhh this is just a nice story ![]() What a blessing you gave. I rehomed one of my older girls a few yrs ago to an older lady in mid 70's and in a wheelchair. I was concerned about it, but when the yorkie jumped in her lap, licked her, I was sold. She was a complete blessing but now the blessing is returned. SHe calls from time to time. One of the best things I ever did! Last two times she called I was having a super bad day and I hear this lil voice say "Kelly, this is Beverly" "Just called to tell you how much I love Chada and how much she means to me" Talk about a mood changer. ![]() ![]() YOu did a great thing, be proud. | ![]() mommaofmia: I would just like to say that I read each and every post on here, and I would like to thank you for what you did. Without you, that little girl may not have made it. You seemed genuinely concerned for her, and placing her with the other lady truly may have been the correct choice for you and for her. I am glad that so far things have worked out seemingly well for you and the dog. Thank you for being so caring, and I hope and pray that if you were put in this situation again, you would find it in your heart to take the little one in again! to those who felt it necessary to be so RUDE: Why must you speak to others in such a tone? I was astounded at the way that some of you replied to this lady trying to do the right thing. Why do you feel that you are entitled to treat anyone this way, much less a stranger? I am almost ashamed to be part of the same network as you. Trust me, I have considered leaving, and eventually people like you might ruin it enough that I will leave permanantly. Thanks to some of the very kind, caring, and wise people on here, I feel that I have made some very good decisions for my boys and myself, and I have really learned a lot on here. However, I feel that the amount of disrespect and drama on here is absolutely ridiculous. Really guys, aren't we all supposed to be mature adults? Frankly, I'm 22...I feel that I'm probably one of the younger ones on this forum, but even I realize that there are appropriate and inappropriate things to say to someone, and there are kinder ways than many of you used to give advice. You guys really need to think about the lasting impression that some of you might have on people. What if some other poor little dog needs to be saved, and someone doesn't know exactly what to do, and because of how incredibly rude you have been, they don't ask the advice, and the dog dies? Sure, it's only one dog, but I wouldn't want that on my hands...also - to those of you who felt "there were more deserving posts in the sick and injured forum" and that "this thread should just DIE" - who are you to decide who does and doesn't deserve advice? In my mind, anyone who asks for help deserves it. This woman in particular asked for help because she was uncertain of what to do. Some people were kind and gave lovely advice. Some people were a little more stern with their wording, and others were flat out rude. Well how dare you! How dare you feel so high and mighty that you feel you can treat someone so terribly. I would consider the fact that you might want this deleted because they are embarrassed about some of the cruel words that you said.
