Wouldn't your friends, parents, relatives say where did you find the dog? The dog looks well-taken care of--must belong to someone? Let's look for the owners??? Let's drive around and see if there are "lost" signs out there. Let's contact Animal Control and see if someone is looking for their puppy.

How do you know her parents aren't the ones who told her to take the dog? I think if you post her picture you have a better chance that a neighbor or someone she goes to school with will recognize her and turn her in. She looks old enough to know it's wrong to take someone else's dog. I don't think she'll return the dog. You need someone to identify her to find out where the dog is.

I'm saying some prayers they get their dog back. Have they had any calls?

This is my concern with talking about how rare she is. Animals are property and if this dog is worth $$$$$ (which I know she is) these people now could go to prison...so do you really think they are now going to come forward with the dog?

Gee, they could hand off the dog to a friend, who returns the dog--saying they found him in a park --and collect the reward. Or tie the dog up in a crate and leave him at the front door of animal control before they open in the morning.

Negativity isn't going to make the situation better.

Okay since you can't seem to understand what I am saying...I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE FLYER AND SAYING THE DOG IS MISSING..PLEASE HELP!

What I am saying is your posting about the dog is from a champion and rare only raises the stake...if these people were caught with a $3500 dollar dog they can go to prison...if the dog was only valued at $100 they might get a slap on the hand. This is about the laws.

I am not being negative...I am trying to make you understand you didn't need to add that part and frankly how many dogs go missing or get stolen and get put on tv...so that is one more signal that this dog is very special. When people do bad things and then get cornered, sometimes they don't see their way out and bad things happen.

I suppose that because this family has had a very successful business in town for over 30 years have a little more clout than I do. I didn't go on television. I suppose if they had a mixed breed dog, their feelings wouldn't be the same--nonsense. They are trying their best to get their puppy returned. Sorry if how they are going about it annoys anyone.

Yes TJ is a special dog. He is a special dog to his family. His family is well known in S. California. The information about his breed might help someone maybe identify the dog. There are folks who have not heard or seen this breed.

So either way, maybe some one will see TJ and maybe some one will collect a reward, because they will recognize him and know he is loved and missed by his family.

I would definitely put flyers with this picture that say, "TJ was last seen with this person". That's a fact, and no one can sue you for those words. I would also include a separate picture of the dog.

I don't know, it looks as the girl knows about the camera. It seems as though she is looking up right at it??? She might be someone who has a lot of dealings in the vicinity, so maybe some of the other shop owners might recognize her. She must have been in the jewelry store and known about TJ. (??) just a thought.

The eyes were pretty blurry, you can't tell where she's looking from the picture. Her face is fairly distinctive though, and I would think that people could recognize her from the picture.

Great job, Nancy and I would plaster those flyers everywhere including vets' offices, pet stores, and any nearby neighborhood.

I'm just LIVID looking at that picture! If it were me I would plaster her face on every inch of that community until she was found. She has the dog in her arm walking away with him. Do they have any idea how old she is? She looks pretty young possibly late teens? I hope they find this little guy and she is charged with this crime!

Supposedly the Police had a "person of interest" --maybe a possible I.D.--but nothing since......

Still hopeing for a happy ending here.
