| If everyone can sign up and comment on the ABC video it may put enough pressure for on them to air the story again. Sounds like from the news story they are trying to make it as easy as possible for the young woman to return the pup with no questions asked. |

| Awww, this is so heart breaking. I hope this girl does the right thing and brings this puppy back to this family.

| By what is reported, the dog was not snatched from someone who came in the store, but had run out the front door and was picked up there. They reported also that TJ was known for running loose on the street. Hopefully the pup will be returned to it's family -- but I also hope they will keep their beloved family member inside -- and well-supervised when outside. |

with no questions asked. From what I heard, highly doubt the dog was actually allowed to run loose. | |

If the reason was to get the girl to come back no questions asked, then why couldn't they say, "drop off the pup at the local police station/vet, no questions asked, no bid deal" instead of making the owner look bad? I'm not arguing, I just don't think that comment does the owner justice.

| I think it threw a different light on the story saying that the puppy was allowed to run loose on the street - I can't see that - how would a person know if the puppy would run out in traffic - just doesn't make sense. If I were the family I would ask ABC to come back and tell it correctly. Bigger blow up picture of the girl too, someone she knows may see it and tell her to take it back. Worst comes to worst I would offer a reward - then someone she knows may bring it back for her!!

| I hope that the dog is found but am mixed as to what the story is. I would lilke to think that the dog was not allowed to just roam the streets. I do also think that the dog should have been better protected/supervised. In a situation of the public coming and going, I would not just let my dog roam, especially a little one. A 90 lb lab is a different story. I hope that this story has a happy ending.

| Like others have suggested, have the news edit out that part about him roaming free & insert the owner's # & reward. If the dog napper decides to show off her newest find, someone might recognize TJ & call. He has a tag w/the owner's name & #...the dog napper clearly knows this...hopefully she'll have a change of heart & do the right thing.

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I hope the dog wasn't allowed out on the street. I hope she meant that everyone on the street knew him. I am frequently on the street--my bank, my hair-dresser, the pharmacy are all right there--and I have only seen him in the back office when I came into the store. I think the tv interview was trying to be kind and not say outright, this person probably stole the dog, but rather please just return the puppy--he is a member of our family.,.. I hope whoever has TJ does the right thing and returns him. They can even collect the reward. |

| Why are people like this??!! I hope the person that stole TJ has a caring heart and realizes it was a mistake and returns him. They must have seen themselves on the news and hopefully will do the right thing!

| Is it against the law to post the picture of the girl taken with the surveillance camera? I would put out flyers of the picture. A neighbor or family member of the girl is bound to recognize her. If she wanted the dog she would take the collar off before taking it home, and say she found it. |

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I don't know if it legal to post her picture off their video camera....but the news showed it. Wouldn't your friends, parents, relatives say where did you find the dog? The dog looks well-taken care of--must belong to someone? Let's look for the owners??? Let's drive around and see if there are "lost" signs out there. Let's contact Animal Control and see if someone is looking for their puppy. |

It makes me mad to think TJ has found a family like the one I mentioned. It will make it harder for him to find a home. I'm praying a good Samaritan sees him and reports his whereabouts.
