| People also think that doggy sunglasses are stupid too, and often look at me funny when they see Roxy in sunglasses. But if you look it up, its a proven fact that dogs eyes are just as susceptible to UV-A & UV-B damage. It is recommended on days that the UV is high and its very sunny that if you can get your dog to wear sunglasses that protect from these rays that you should. So, do I care when ppl say "How do you get her to keep them on?", "Thats so silly!", no, I dont... because I've done my research, and I know I am doing the right thing for my dog and her eyes, and Yorkies have enough problems with their eyes through aging without adding to it. I'd rather hear them and protect my babies, than put them in any kind of jeopardy to not hear it. Why do I care what a bunch of ppl I dont know or probably am never going to talk to again think? I don't.

| I read a news story last summer about a dog whose owner put sunglasses on him one day for fun. From that day on, the dog refused to the leave the house without wearing his sunglasses. I wish I could remember the breed, lol, smart dog! |

| I really ♥ my stroller, we use it daily. I don't care what anyone thinks! Actually, I get quite a few compliments on it and how cute my girls look when they're going for a ride. We have the Petgear AT3

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I love having a stroller. I have one 11 year old that tires easy and will walk a few blocks and then get in the stroller. On a 8 or more block walk they take turns in the stroller. It is awesome to be able to take lots of dogs at the same time.

I'm not against strollers, per say. I can see it being used very occasionally... but I am *so* not for not allowing your dogs on grass, around other dogs, etc. Dogs are social creatures and I think some ppl isolate their dogs too much and don't allow them to be dogs. I am protective over Jackson: I scope every situation out first, I would never let him on the big dog side of the park if there's too many, etc, but my philosophy is you can't go around worrying and thinking that the worst is going to happen all the time. It's better to live a fulfilling life. You can always prevent certain things, but somethings you cannot. I often see that the highly overprotective people are the ones who end up having accidents happen often, and the more laid back nonchalant people don't. I think you need to find a good place in the middle. Let me add that I understand not everybody who puts their dogs in strollers don't exercise their dog. I think that's just an image that's put out there when the general public sees people walking along with their dogs in strollers because I know I used to think it. "What, the dog can't walk?" That type of attitude. I would only use a stroller for Jackson if he was injured, or when he gets old. For me personally, that's the only time I could ever see myself using one. He loves to walk and walk and walk though so I don't think he would stand for staying in a stroller anyways, lol. I've walked 4 dogs at one time all on leashes and they were all well behaving dogs, so it really wasn't that hard.

| I just bought a stroller for my dogs. I love to walk my Scottie and Mini Doxie, but my doxie don't do good on long walks, so the stroller will come in handy for her. I also have two Yorkies very small 4 & 3 pounds. I will also be using the stroller with them on my walks and outings. the other reason for the stroller we have a coyote problem. the coyotes are very bold and brave, so I keep the furbabies very close. My first dog stroller, my husband just laughs at me and I don't care what anybody else thinks. I'm looking forward to many happy walks with all my Furbabies. ![]() ![]()

| I'm on my second stroller and would never be without one. When we go to the mall, we can take them in every store as long as they are in the stroller. They are clipped in and I put the top down. Going to the outlet stores is the same. We walk them, but when we see a store we want to go in, we put them in the stroller. During the hot summer months when we go to the little beach towns, they go in the stroller to go into stores or when the asphalt is too hot for them. My Zada has had surgery on her knees twice and the stroller was perfect to go places in especially since her recovery periods were 8 weeks, both times. Also when we stop to eat at the outside eating areas at restaurants, they go into the stroller. Much better than having them get tangled up with table and chair legs. I'm not one for leaving my girls home if I can take them. This way I don't have to worry or feel sorry that they are left at home, and by taking them, we can all have such a good time.

| Well...I have mixed feelings about them. I do not have one, and probably will never have one, because they are sorta silly...strollers for dogs? HOWEVER - I can see where they would be convenient. I think they'd be convenient if you were going on a walk longer than your little one could handle, and you didn't feel like carrying them, or if you wanted to hide them while going into a store or hotel or something...most people who see those will assume it's a human child in the stroller.

| I have a pink petzip jogger and I love it!!! Laya gets plenty of exercise, but on some occasions it is so handy having the stroller. Today we went to the Super Pet Expo and there were so many people and so many dogs that it was nice having her up off the ground and not having to stop and sniff each and every dog in the place. If I didn't have the stroller I would have had to carry her becuase she would have gotten stepped on. Some people laugh, some make comments, but most of the small dog owners come up and ask where we got the stroller. And you can throw all of your junk underneath leaving you hands free.

| I have one and I love it! I've had it since last fall and have only used it on trick or treat night! But I wish I would have taken it with me this past Saturday. I took Bijou to a jewelry party with me and there were some very rude little girls there who kept trying to get Bijou to bite their hands (they were putting their hands very fastly and closely to her mouth and pulling back) I asked them politely not to do this as she's just a pup and I wasn't sure she wouldn't snap a finger. They stopped, but I had to overly keep an eye on them as Bijou sat on my lap the whole time. After I went to an outdoor type of mall and there were so many people there it was hard to walk on the sidewalks. So I carried her there too. Next time we either take the stroller or Bijou will have to stay at home. I think you'll love a stroller.

| Okay, A THOUGHT TO CONSIDER... I have 5 yorkies ranging from 1 to 14 years. Two teacups and three regular. Two are sick with congestive heart failure. So how do I leave two pups at home while I take the other three??? I can't; I have carried little Bebe in a carry bag for the past year, and she puts up with not seeing well. So... now that I now have two that need to be carried I've decided to get a stroller. Yes they need their walks, but this way everyone still goes and enjoys!!! |
