Although things aren't so clear right now...but I been thinking and comparing all yesterday. This post came from another thread. Long story short...i found this picture on a foster thread...and the moment I clicked on the picture that the foster mom posted...i was like OMG and all sorts of emotions ran through me...I am probably just getting my hopes up...but could there be just a slight possibility that it could be him...here is a link to the post where the first 2 pictures is the one I posted of Yoshi...and the 3rd pictures is the one that the foster mom posted....I am still waiting to hear back from her but I am sure I am wrong....

Oh my goodness Hon! I am hoping & praying that this IS Yoshi!! The similarities are so clear. I saw yr post & I was so hopeful this was good news!! Hope you hear very very soon! We're here with you waiting.;) Be strong! HUGS!!

I had chills when I read this post....When I looked at all 3 pics it certainly looks like the same dog to me. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

look i don't want to get your hopes up either but WOW, they do look so similar. I pray that he is your Yoshi and that you can get him back where he belongs! Good luck!

i was just looking at the original post and she mentions that the dog in the pic was unaltered...was your Yoshi?

i have not been able to sleep because this was all i was thinking about yesterday....and last night...from the little info i got from the foster mom and whatever doesn't really give me any chances that it is him....so i dunno....just waiting to hear back from her because i did give her his microchip number since she said this dog was microchip but it was never registered but i know i have registered Yoshi because i there updating it the other night.

She told me that he is stated to be approx 3.5 years old.
Well Yoshi will be 3 in May.

I am waiting to hear what he weights because Yoshi weight 3.12 lbs when he went missing.

Wow! All I can say is WOW! They really DO look alike!! I so hope its Yoshi!! As soon as I opened the pic thread I seriously got goose bumps and I have no idea why?? :confused:

Mary, that looks like Yoshi. The coloring is a little off in the picture she posted, but it may have been the lighting. I really hope its him.

I noticed that as well, but the rescue pic looked like it was in flourescent lighting and I think that could have made the coloring look slightly different. The nose and the mouth look the same, as well as the hair. I really hope it is Yoshi!

yes and also i have read that a yorkie can break their color up to 3 years of age...also from yoshi being gone over a year now...i wonder if sunlight and weather could also lighten hair color?

I don't think he's in rescue. If I remember correctly, this was posted in the rescue section, but he was in a shelter. Elaine

no he is now in a foster home.....he was pulled from a shelter by a ytnr foster mom i believe just a few days ago.

Kacee's hair can look a totally different color in different lighting as well

All I can say is - wow! It looks like Yoshi to me! I'm hoping and praying for you. I enlarged both pics and put them side by side. The only difference I thought I could see besides the difference in lighting was and this is perhaps the size of the ears. As closely as I was looking, I still couldn't tell for sure on the ears.

yeah i was also comparing the ears but the on the rescue it looks like the hair has grown over unlike the picture of yoshi...i dunno i am sure i am just putting my hopes out there...hehe...its ok...i will not stop looking until i have no for sure there is no point in looking.

Looks the same to me...and I think she said he was very dirty when she picked him up so maybe this is why the coloring if off??

is the foster mom going to get him scanned to see if his chip # matches Yoshi's? I sure hope its him...keeping my fingers crossed!

The resemblance is uncanny however Yoshi's chip was registered and apparently this dog's was never registered....

If she's fostering...do you know who she's fostering for? I think you need to get in touch with those people.

Yes, the coloring is a little different but that could just be the lighting or the camera. Looks to me to be the same dog but it would help if we could see his eyes (in any of the pics). Praying that you are reunited with your baby!!

ok, i'm sticking my nose in again :-) 1st the hair...the rescue pup doesn't look like he's had a bath for a while so that will effect the color plus the breaking stage. 2nd...don't rely too much on the weight unless it's insanely different becaue like you said it's been over a year and there is really no way to determine what's happened over the past year and what he's been eating. and something bothers me about the micro chip not being registered....when Sam was chipped the vet sent the paperwork in that day...maybe he is registered but something is wrong with the chip. I can't see someone paying to have them chipped and not following through with it's registration. I'm really holding out hope for you. Good luck and come home soon Yoshi!!

They look like the same dog to me! I have my fingers crossed that this is him and will be hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for a reunion!
