I just pmed you. When I opened this thread and saw the pictures I could NOT stop shaking. I still have goosebumps like 10 minutes later. I just dont want to understand how the heck he got so far or that a microchip was not found but all of that still does not shake the feeling that it looks too much like Yoshi. This dog looks exactly like Yoshi. The color is very slightly off but you can tell the lighting is different and also a year will change the haircolor. I pray for Yoshi's return as much as I do Cookie's return. It tears me up inside. You really should take up the offer by the YT member that is in CA and have her get him scanned by a universal scanner. I think I'm getting a migraine... Gen Gen |
Mary, I am praying for you and Yoshi. |
It would really be a miraculous inspiration and DEFINITELY a motivator for ppl to get their dogs microchipped. I am hoping that you hear from her soon! I read the story, and what happened to that little baby is horrible! I hope it is Yoshi, and I hope that you two will be reunited, and I hope that when he sees you, all of those hardships and sadness that he's been through in the past year all melt away being with the person he loves again and remembering love. My eyes are getting all watery. I really hope its him. I cant imagine what its been like for you, and I hope that nobody ever has to, and if it is him, I hope you will never have to again. The only difference I noticed was hair color, and its been over a year. I know Roxy's hair color has changed a lot in a year, and she is 3 as well. :) God Bless and I hope she gets back to you soon on the chip #. That being said, it irritates me that they have so many ways for microchips, it should be one way, and universal. I am sending in Lexi's chip info soon, and it better work, and nobody better be able to change it, and the lady who had her who I got her from better not be able to screw me over. She was a bad owner. |
I just know it's Yoshi Mary! I can feel it in my bones, and get chills every time I look at the pics! I wish I had the money to fly you out to Cali so you could be reunited with ur precious beloved Yoshi today! |
I too feel that this is your baby. they look to much a like. as for the ones asking how could he get from one state to another. the answer is easy. someone picked him up and he went from one person to another any things possible. as for the aggressive behavior. one can turn this way from being on the streets going from hand to hand scared mistreated. etc. hun I hope and pray this is your baby and he comes home to you. |
Dead ringer!!!!! That boy needs some TLC. How sad for him!! |
I wonder why it is taking so long for her to get back to Mary? but she may be at work Where did Mary find the pic of the little rag muffin? even though he hasn't had any grooming you can still see that sweetness on his little face |
I sure hope this is your Yoshi! Pets can easily end up far from home and it can happen in a split second. A few years ago one of our neighbors went out their door to go to the fireworks just accross the street and somehow their little Yorkie, Peggie Sue, slipped out between their feet. She was a tiny thing and she got lost in the crowd of people. Someone, and I'm guessing it must have been a kid, picked her up and put her in the back of a pick-up truck and she ended up in a town 13 miles from here. The people didn't know she was there until the next morning and luckily they were honest enough to make the effort to find her home. |
If that is not Yoshi then that is definitely his twin because those dogs look so similar to me that I would not have guessed it is two different dogs. A year is a LONG time to be gone and hair can lighten. That poor dog in the shelter picture looks like he has been missing for some time. I really pray and hope this is your baby and that you will have him home soon. |

I thought I saw his picture somewhere! Poor thing, that poor dog has been through so much I hope this is your baby so he can be home and safe finally. Can you contact the rescue group by telephone and maybe get more answers FASTER! I know people are busy but if this lady knows you think she may have your dog why isn't she getting onto it to figure it out. I remember her saying she stays home for work! |

I had no idea that's where you spotted Yoshi! I read that thread yesterday. I hope and pray it's your boy. Didn't she say she foster's for the YTNR? Can you call them for info? |

I believe that is the place she said she was fostering from and it even says that he was found a stray running in a field :( |
I just noticed in one of Rizzos moms other threads she states that this rescue boy is 8.5 lbs.. That is much larger than Yoshi! :(:(:( http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-hot-mess.html |

thank you for everyone's suggestion and concerns...guess this was another failed attempt on my part....this thread can probably be closed out now since it turned out to false hope due to my emotions... |
he looks like he could lose 5 lbs of hair...if that isnt yoshi then its yoshi reincarnated either way she wants to find a home for him..i think that dog needs u and u him |

that sight where you spotted this dog says he is going to be put up for adoption soon. It does not look like an 8 pound dog at all. Please don't give up until you know for sure if this is your Yoshi. Do you know the lady's name that is taking care of him? If she isn't responding maybe she wants to keep him. |

Mary, Don't give up yet. Like someone mentioned all the hair could add weight. Besides nothing has been confirmed yet. Speculation means nothing. Wait until you speak to someone from YTNR or the foster mother herself. Mistakes happen in typing, thinking and second guessing. Hang on. |

i will continue to monitor this thread and the other one...and wait to hear back from the foster mom....but for right now i have to go lay down....or i will start puking for feeling sick to my tummy...thank you... |
btw way i just googled the 402 area code and that points to Omaha, NE which is not to far from here either...about 5.5 hrs from here... |
Mary the way I see it almost everyone that has viewed this thread those pictures thinks its him. I would not let the microchip/slight difference in hair color or the difference in size turn me away from this. chance of it being your baby. Hair color can change over time. and being this poor dog was a mess many things could change the look not to mention lighting from the picture. as for weight from the pictures they look about the same size and you know what size your baby was. yet the pictures look so close in size. many people guess the weight so I would not go by that either. you wont know until you see him in person. I noticed on the other rescue thread she has been having problems attaching newer pictures of him. if thats still the case many here on YT can help her with that. she can email any of us and we can post them for her and you. some have offered to help get this baby to you if it is him. I hope the OP gets back with you soon, I know if It was me I couldn't think straight, Id be so happy thinking I might of found this rescues owners. |

If this turns out to be the miracle we're all praying for count me in to help get either one of them to each other. |
Mary I know that you don't want to be disappointed, but keep the faith :) Sending all good thoughts and prayers. :) Bo |
