Our New Baby rescued from the Shelter After all my frustration about the Shelter not letting come up and adopt a female yorkie that I was informed about through adopt-a-pet but things abruptly changed. Weds night after the shelter closed I got a call from them and they said the adoptive parent did not show up with paperwork that day as agreed. They told me if I was there first thing in the morning Thursday, (which I was) I would be considered to adopt her. So a long story short and a long drive I did get to adopt Fifi-(new name to TBA) and she is coming home with me next weds 17th after her spay She is an adorable little waif, skinny and so in need of TLC, great food, nurturing and a loving home. She has a very sweet personality...... Here are some shelter pictures of her....this poor baby was a stray that was just dumped off at the shelter in the night box. Well her luck has changed! P.S. If any yorkie names jump out at you that you think fits her give me a shout.....we were thinking Lily, Emma, Rainey any thoughts..dogs have to match their name.......

You are so wonderful to give this girl a loving home. She looks like a sweetie! A little TLC, and she is going to be beautiful. Congratulations on your new family addition! Names -- how about something that gives a nod to her darker colors? Cocoa or Brownie for instance.

| Oh my goodness that poor little dog. Congrats on getting her, she looks like she can use some TLC (I hope that doesn't sound rude). I am not good at suggesting names but I am with you she need a name other thans Fifi. Please post a picture after you get her. I am glad she is going to a loving home.

The name Stella shouts out to me! Bless you for adopting this angel. Vicki Raven is another nice name that suits her photos.

She looks like a Lily to me. Another cute name would be Lucy. She sure is a doll and lucky to have you for a mom.

She'll be Pretty in Pink Thank you all for the well wishes for this precious little girl.....and some great name suggestions also! I have always been a find um and rescue them person FOREVER much to the dismay of my previous husband (what dog or cat is she bringing home today) kinda thing. But I kept the pets and got rid of him......really! That is how I got my first yorkie Ms. Wookie many years ago shivering like a pathetic little rag-a-muffin at the shelter in October in the rain. Now here is one for you.... I believe in Serendipity....Ms. Wookie was my 1st yorkie companion and the love of my life when she passed away in my arms at age 13 it was on Feb 11th. Now 8 years later I am filling out the paperwork to adopt Fifi AKA another shelter rag-a-muffin and guess what it was Feb. 11th. I feel that ms. wookie was giving me her blessing when she went to rainbow bridge to again rescue another deserving needy yorkie from the shelter. I will not be able to bathe her for 2 weeks after her spay but I will post pictures of this little girl in pink bows. I am going to work on her nutritionally to get her hair growing it is very dull and she is malnourished. Keep her your prayers..... Sydney's mom and Rizzo RIP Forever
