Your pictures take me back to when we saved Camden, here are a couple of before and after of her! The third one is right after she was shaved down and the last one is her hanging out in her favorite spot!

I love the before and after pics of the rescues. Brandi was a rescue too and she was a hot mess. Now she's a diva. She has gone from an attitude of gratitude to an attitude of entitlement. It's okay with me. I got Brandi when she was 7 yrs old and after yrs of breeding, I promised her she will live the rest of her life as a pampered princess, she deserves it.

Congrats....be sure to post some before and after pics. Hmmmm.....that actually would be a good thread....before and after pics of all the rescued yorkies!

Thanks! It's amazing, I wasn't sure if she was all Yorkie when we got her she was in such horrible shape! You can see how large her nose looked, because half the hair on her nose was rubbed off. When we got her groomed, I swear I thought the groomer gave us back the wrong dog!

Camden was a breeding dog, but lost a litter of puppies. This was the condition she was in when we saved her from the byb at 2 1/2 yrs old. We also strive to make sure she lives the life of a pampered princess and as you can see by how comfy she is in the last photo, she has settled into that role!

I can't wait to see the before and after pics of this little one as well!!

I agree with you we should have a thread on before and after pictures of rescued yorkies. My first yorkie was nothing short of a raggie hot mess but blossomed into a beautiful girl. I love seeing before's and after also.
My husband did not see this rescue at the shelter as I did so he is bracing himself for a 4 legged train wreck to be little diva princess in training.

I went through some outfits last night that I had for Sydney (have to upload her picture here) that she never wore because she grew to be 11 lbs...fast and is not petite. Low and behold I found 2 Diva princess fur jackets that will be perfect for our new baby! A RAGS to RICHES story for sure!
This weds. when we pick her up can't come fast enough!!!

I have the crate packed and I am getting ready to hit the road for my 1.5 hr. drive to break our new yorkie out of doggie jail. She has been at the shelter for over a week and was spayed yesterday. She is good to go with all of her new pink baby things, toys, pink blankie, her name tag, (that is only baby girl macias) until we decide on a final name for her.
Checked in with the vet yesterday to see how she was doing with her spay and the assistant commented on what a sweetheart this little girl is!
Will keep you posted when she gets home and adjusted with new pictures....

How about Ebony? She's black in color and the name seems to

Going with what you stated I can't help it but suggest Cinderella, she truley found her Fairy GodMother in you, maybe you can call her Cindy for short.

When I got to the shelter this morning I walked in with her carrier and said I was here to break "Fifi" (her shelter name) out of doggie jail!! The staff laughed!!
Well we just got home and our little baby slept all the way in her new pink bed inside her crate. She came out of her carrier running all over like she owns the place.
Gosh I just forgot how skinny she is...a strong wind and she would fly away.

Because of her spay she can't get a bath for a week or so but diva/princess pictures and update to follow.

Thank you so much for your well wishes for this little darling....
