when i bought blu it was for a show dog when he was shipped to me
he was shipped with an open font that was not diclosed to me until after he arrived and i called and asked steph about this and she said yes her vet had found it but neglected to call me and tell me before she shipped him
she did not give me the courtesy of refusing the dog because of this
problem i guess she did not think i would find it
i wrote her recently and told her i had breed blu and he produced an open font pup and he was in the works to be neutered she has not returned my emails or my phone calls
i am very devastated right at this moment and have no clue why my boy
dropped dead i guess i will know in about 10 day's
I'm am so sorry you have lost your blu. And, do hope you get answers for his early passing.

Did I understand your above post correctly, in that your bred blu, knowing about his open fontanel? Had it closed before he was bred, I'm curious?

I can not wrap my mind around the fact that, Stephanie shipped him to you, knowing of his condition, and the dangers involved.

Where has the love and ethics in yorkie breeding gone to It is as though the yorkie world has gone insane with greed.

The breeder is NOT being bashed for the "accident", she is being bashed for something she has complete control over. Adevertising the pups with her name behind them. If you value your reputation, that is Pretty dumb, in my opinion.

I should have known I would have to give an explanation for these puppies on puppyfind.. I did have a lady call me today about these puppies and I didnt feel the need to explain how the puppies came to be, but obviously I do.... First of all these puppies DO NOT BELONG TO ME! It WAS an accidental breeding with my sisters boyfriends schauzer... I only have Yorkies and would never mix a breeding... My sister was living with me at the time and her boyfriend would come visit her at my home and would occasionally bring his dog with him... I didnt even know his dog was in heat and even if I would have known, I would have never believed that my 4 pound Yorkie would have ever been able to reach a 12 pound schnauzer, but nevertheless, he did......... The dogs were outside in my fenced in yard when it happened, that was the only time they bred and of course, she got pregnant! I let my sister list the puppies on my puppyfind account to try and help them sell the puppies... It is not my decision on how much they ask for the puppies or when they let them go...... everyone who knows ME, knows that I never let my puppies leave until 12 weeks of age at the earliest..... But like I said, these are NOT my puppies, they live with him in his home and are being taken care of by him and my sister I cannot make them keep the puppies any longer than he feels necessary to keep them....... Keep in mind, these puppies are half SCHNAUZERS and although Yorkies may not be ready for their new homes until 12 weeks of age, I know several schnauzer breeders who let their puppies leave by 8 weeks of age.....some even sooner.. So if he wants to let his puppies go by 7-8 weeks old, then that his decision and it has no reflection on me and how I raise my dogs..... I have worked long and hard to accomplish what I have in my dogs and my line and I am not crazy enough to ruin my line and reputation by mixing breeds or even owning another breed than my love of Yorkies.....
Also, I dont know where you people are getting these lies from... The male that bred their dog is not a Tsa-La-Gi dog....! It is MY dog out of my own breeding..... and NO WHERE did i see a listing for a "designeer dog"..
... This is my SISTER and her boyfriend we are talking about here and I am very close to her... I will always do what I can to help her and if letting her put those puppies on my puppyfind account offends any of you, then I'm sorry, but if I have to choose between her and you on here who have nothing better to do than to gossip about people or try and start trouble, then your feelings are about to be hurt, because I will always choose her over you...

I find that hard to believe too, uless, of course, they had help. And certainly it did not happen quickly, there would have been plenty of timed to separate them. Didn't you notice him sniffing her when you first put them out together? That would have been my first clue that she was in heat.

yes it did close and we bred him once to see and because we had an open font pup he was to be fixed and so ends his line
i did send steph and email about this but never got a reply from her

Bless your heart, I truly am sorry, your blu was a beautiful boy.

Somehow, it doesn't surprise me you never heard back from her. And, it wouldn't surprise me to read, when you wanted to purchase blu, it was a different story, she couldn't get back to you fast enough.

I do not know whatb Tammy's reason was for not breeding Izzy, but I can understand why she would NOT return her to the breeder to be sold to someone else for breeding, when she herself felt she should not be bred.

i did talk to steph many times by email and phone and sent her email reports from my vet but she keep assuring me that her vet felt it was nothing to worry about but of course i kept questioning it and now my liitle attidue is gone and i am in totall shock he just laid down and was gone no signs of nothing just gone my vet said stroke heart attack 100 different things as he just did a teeth cleaning on him in july before a show and he just could not say but he felt it was an underlying problem we did not know about

Rose, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Blu.. I know how much you loved him and I am very interested in finding out what your vet finds in the necropsy....
However, I cannot believe you would come on YT and start chiming in on the bashing of me, without first talking to me about this. You and I both know that we have talked many times about Blu and even discussed a replacement dog with you if infact his font did not close up and you were in agreeance with that, as you said this is what you would want... The last time we spoke you were showing him and very happy with him and you said yourself the font was closed and you were going to breed him. As far as him throwing a puppy with an open font,it is not uncommon for small yorkie puppies to be born with an open font and can take up to a year to close sometimes... and you know this... we have had many discussions about this and even your vet confirmed this with you...

On Tammy...... You also know that right from the start I stayed in contact with you when you first mentioned that Izzy had a problem.. My immediate reaction was to let you know that i would gladly replace her for you, and you took such defense to that... This was not a strike at you, but this is what any reputable breeder would have done... When i realized you wanted no part of returning her, and spoke more in detail about her problem, it was then that i learned that the first vet that you had check out izzy said she was in perfect health, condition, and even bragged to you about how well taken care of she was..... then, you take her in for shots to another vet months later and all of the sudden she has LP and needs surgery.... I did not think it was uncalled for me to ask you for another opinion as alot of vets grade knees differently.... I even told you that I would work with you on paying for the surgery if it was necessary, but again, you took offense to this!
and i never heard from you again..... so what happened? did you take her in for another opinion and get a different report? if not, then why hasnt she had the surgery yet??

I'm sorry... I do not get on YT or the computer very much... I only come on here because i start getting phone calls about people talking about me.. I have told many people, if you feel the need to talk to me quickly, please call me instead of emailing me....... I am a single mother with a 3 year old daughter that just had surgery YESTERDAY and the fact that I am on here now trying to defend myself is sickening, when I know and everyone who knows me, knows that I have always tried to do right by people....

Take care Yorkie Talk.....
