Thanks ladies! Would you believe me of I told you that pictures do not show her true cuteness?! I mean, no joke...she is a DOLL!!!! I am treasuring these babies like crazy since this will be it for my Livi girl....no more babies.

Tammy Izzy is 100% yorkie.....that is ALL stephanie has had, I rember her litter...a simple DNA test would reveal what I am saying. YES, Stephnie sure is a big girl and can take care of business. However, while y'all were bashing her she was in sugery with her toddler daughter. No, she dosen't need me to defend her, but I couldn't sit here all day and see what y'all were saying and knowing what she was going through with her baby girl.

As far as having a schnauzer NOW...Frankie, he is a BABY that was given to her for her daughter recently. I know better than to keep coming back in here, I know how it is when the " clique " or the ones who want in that clique are....HAVE to believe to worst. Everything isnt always what it looks like on the surface. Stephanie is an AWESOME breeder with AWESOME yorkies, She had two in her breeding show dogs and showing that were out of weight standard...Izzy was one of them. I do agree with you Tammy on she is a doll, I do love her face/head.

I don't kow how long its going to take this girl to catch on.........Flirt is 2000 I said at the time a few homes I have been talking to the price is lower, but they know who they are.

You say Izzy has a nice face and head....so you honestly think that I got what I paid for?? Are you saying that you believe Flirt, that you are currently trying to sell, is of the same quality of my Isabeau because the price is just about the same. How about the ongoing vet bills and what if Izzy has to have surgery for her bilateral luxating patella...what if the natural route stops being a succesful alternative for her, then what? Do I think tack on the additonal $$$$ for those surgeries....out of my family's money??

Anyone can look at Izzy and see what kind of breeder Stephanie Cebrynski is....not to mention, the knee issues that I have to now take care of. What we paid is insulting considering I sold a GORGEOUS puppy (that I bred) a few months ago for far less and there was absolutely NO comparison in his quality versus what I got from Brynstar!

I for one am not a member of any (click) here or any where else for that matter. I come here for knowledge (and to admire the lovely babies). When Flirt was first listed I thought she was very cute, and believed that she was with a caring family who was trying to find a better life for this little girl. I actually hoped that Tae would get her, but then I read all this, and I really am shocked. I do not know anything about this breeder, but after reading the ads on puppy find I believed that she was the seller of these puppies and was selling on the CH status of the sire. I went her website, and fell in love with Gambler. He looks like my Chip and after looking at his pedigree I see that he has some of the same lines as Chip, but knowing that a breeder will cross breed throws a red flag to me who would be a potiential buyer looking for a puppy, seeing the words Purse Puppy would be another red flag to me. Any experienced breeder should know this would reflect back to her either way positive or negative. Another thing that bothers me is the OP and the breeder is all hung up on Flirts size. Sure she is small, but its not all that uncommon. Four out of my Six are that size, and from what I see over half of Yorkie Talk has yorkies that size too.

I feel for Tammy because of the position she is in with Izzy. I have been very lucky that all my babies came to me healthy and I did not have this to deal with, well until I got Haley back in December. Haley got sick right after I got her. I took her to our ER Clinic here and they said she had several problems including a grade 4 luxating patella in her back leg. When I contacted the lady who I got Haley from she was very hurt and shocked. She offered to pay for her treatment, or do what ever I wanted her to do. She never mentioned taking Haley back. She stood by Haley, but understood that I loved her too. Luckly Haley did not have a luxating patella! but it was nice knowing she came from a great family before she came into mine.

After saying all this, my opinion should be understood.

I won't say more to you as you know where I stand on the options you had and so many people cry patella problems after the dog is old enough to run, jump, and play.......this also can cause patella problems that were not there when the puppy was born or sold, but of course the new owner NEVER takes that into cosideration. Happens here on this board to breeders as well. I am not a vet so I don't claim to know how or why Izzy has issues, but if you were so upset with them or more importanly didn't feel you got your moneys worth...you could have gotten another yorkie from a different breeding if you werent comfortable with that breeding .....you had options and no, sorry you don't get free yorkies at brynstar you would have had to return her, so you made the choice.

If a breeder is selling with breeding rights making sure the dog is sound and conforms to the standard is a part of that responsibility.
selling a yorkie with wrong coat type ,size and health issues for more money is ludacris perhaps breeders who sell with breeding rights should consider holding on to those dogs to make sure they are a true representaton of the breed.

And do yourself a favor go to a dog show or better yet take a look at some of the show breeders dogs on this site, neither Flirt of her sister have the coat, size, or looks of ANY OF THIER dogs, and I have seen MANY of them sell DOGS who did not reach show size and they sell them for under 1000.
00 and they have BEAUTIFUL SILKY COATS, NO OVERBITE, PAPERS AND they are spayed or at the very least come with a spay contract... SO GET OVER YOURSELF WITH HER 2 pound size...

Your opinion was very well said. I noticed the 'hung up' on size too....and wish everyone would think VERY CAREFULLY when going for a tiny......READ ALL That may be involved in having one this small and even for those that aren't tiny - read and research. Yorkies are not cheap !

not to mention all the price fluctuations ...I understanding lowering a price - but not increasing a price on a whim or how things happen to be going at that particular time. We're talking about a living being. A good home should always be the motivating factor when selling puppies.

Tammy - Izzy is a doll - and yes - with VERY Curly hair - but I feel even sorrier that she has health issues - people don't fully understand how heartbreaking it is knowing your dog is or could be in pain - let alone the COST involved in treatment....They aren't something that these breeders should take lightly.

ps....I didn't see any 'poor me' posts by you Tammy - but I DID see them in the for sale ads....I feel bad for anyone dealing with health issues - but again - it shouldn't have a thing to do when placing a puppy. If someone has too much on their plate - maybe it's time to take a BREAK.

Angie, you are right....we have nothing else to say to eachother. I'm pretty sure my words and pictures say it all. I won't get into the back and forth nastiness that you seem to thrive on....plus, don't you think Brynstar and yourself have been summed up in a nutshell with just this one thread?

Angie, I've been reading the thread/s and would just like to make a few suggestions. If you truly are interested in only the best home for Flirt then please have her spayed. $2000 is a lot to ask for a one year old rehome. I doubt you'll get it, but my concern is if you do that it will be from someone stupid that is looking to breed her for tinies. I have a seven month old little girl who is 2.5 lbs. She's stopped growing and I don't think she'll get any bigger. She's from the Durrer lines and has a nice pedigree. We payed about what you are asking for Flirt, but she was also only 14 weeks at the time. As I said price is your business, but I do wish if her well being is your first priority that you would then have her spayed first. She deserves to be in a home where she'll get to play like any other puppy or dog. And, not in a crate as a breeder or in someone's purse as a show piece. Just my opinion. Elaine
