No matter how many "friends" or siblings they have with them when you leave - it doesn't seem to matter to Yorkies - they think they're the one and only!!! | |

| I am really loving all of these stories. I check back occasionally just to get a smile! I can't honestly think of a time when I've been really upset with Sadie but my husband sure can. We were in Mississippi visiting his mother. Her house is set back really far from the road. All the little dogs in the family were sitting out in the driveway with the people. He insisted that it would be ok to let Sadie off the leash of a little bit. He promised to follow her around and not let her five feet away from him. He followed her around the back of the house between their house and the next door neighbors. He thought everything was good because the neighbors had a fence on the side of their yard and the bayou was in the back. Sadie trotted down to the edge of the water, looked back and just jumped in. All he could think of was snapping turtles and snakes and that nothing had better happen to her on his watch. He jumped right in after her. He came back around the house carrying a wet, muddy dog and he himself was muddy and wet all the way up to his waist. His wallet and cell phone both got wet. The look on his face was priceless. The funny thing is that she didn't start shaking till we got to the bathroom to give her a bath. I guess only clean water scares her. It's a funny story now but needless to say she lost all hope of any freedom ever again! |

| YT 500 Club Member | So glad I'm not the only one going through this. Rosie is almost one and is now hitting the terrible twos. Today Alfie dared to look at her dinner and she attacked him, stopped her, discaplined her everything seamed fine, they started playing then she went for him again. Right now shes pulling the label from the underside of the new rug, I'm trying not to loose my patience with her. Doesn't help that its been pouring down all day so no walk to tire them out. |

| I have not had that experience yet (knock on wood) probably because I have had them less then 1 year. I have had Gidget since April 2009 and Daisy August/September 2009 - definately not from the same litter. I went into shock when I put them together . Styroform was all over the place - big pieces/little pieces and hard to clean up. I was more confused then really mad with my thoughts on wondering how Daisy unzipped the cover part the way in addition to ripping. A co-worker told me I went about the intro wrong which I later confirmed on YorkieTalk. They still have their moments but are doing much better and even sleep in the same bed sometimes (I got them both new beds different filling). Daisy still will not let Gidget's bed be close to hers but that's fine and doesn't seem to bother Gidget. The beds have remained in tact. |

| Well I have to say it sure looks like I have plenty of company living with a spoiled, want everything my way, Yorkie. And yes, you just gotta love them to pieces even when you want to pull their ears off, then feel guilty for even thinking such a thing ![]() I believe I would be very bored without Buddy. You expect these things from human children but who would believe such things from a furbaby? |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | ZZ plucks my nerves once every month or so and that's it. As for my moms dachshund..... He could live outside and it would be fine with me, he is so aggrivating! However, i love them both very much!

Lol, I'm sorry, but I cracked up when I read this: "I felt so guilty all day with the treat in my bag." Feelings of quilt are the hardest feelings to accept. It's just so much easier to feel angry then guilty, and probably healthier for you too. You're a great mommy, but he just can't understand why you have to leave him. Yorkies are much more dependent on human companionship than other dogs, but that's why we love them so much. I really don't leave Joey much, I don't think it's good for him though, and I worry about if something happens to me, how will he handle it?

| Yes. When Ruger looks right at me and pees on something in the house. It's like he's tempting me to give him flying lessons, but he's so damn cute it's hard to get really mad. |

| I think everybody who has a Yorkie gets exasperated with them at times. I just remember about the unconditional love they show us and it makes me much more patient. |

| Donating YT 11K Club Member | Yes I have. Teddy gets really mad if I go somewhere without him. He already knows how to open doors with his paws so when I leave, my bedroom door that doesn't close well-he opens it and makes tons of noise..whining and scratching the door! Then if that doesn't work he starts barking up a storm. I get so mad at him sometimes because I live in an apt. building..he can't be loud like that! Well sometimes when I leave he gets so mad that he has jumped on my bed and pooped on it, on purpose I believe. Well now too bad for him- when I go out I always put a diaper on him. He hates it but now he has to deal with it, because I can't trust him anymore. He has done it way more than once! That's the only thing that has gotten me so mad.
