Poor Thor. Yes, I agree with you that is a pretty stressful way to live. I hope you can find some answers to help the both of you. I know some Yorkies who are shy, afraid of noises etc but Buddy is far from being afraid of anything. I think if he were human he'd be wearing a leather jacket, driving a Harley with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Last edited by ARCHIE; 02-02-2010 at 08:25 AM.

| I am an avid knitter, and Bra'tac has a passion for destroying my skeins of yarn. He digs his way into my knitting bad and finds the most expensive ball and then proceeds to pull it into every direction possible! Well.....I have been patiently working on a new lace sock pattern, got up for one moment and forgot to tuck the yarn away. When I came back into the room, Bra'Tac had the yarn strewn about everywhere. Well,,,, I yelled, and he tucked tail and ran! I felt horrible afterwards, but what are you going to do? |

| I recently got was so mad at Cooper, I was crying with anger. I said some really mean things . My hubby kept telling me to calm down and I didn't mean what I was saying. He was right. I had taken her out and we were outside for about 20 minutes, she comes back in and pees a trail across the floor. Knowing she has made a mistake, she high tails it to her crate. (I'm a little frustrated at this point.) She slides into the water bowl. Now, I have a bowl of water and pee to clean up. After being in her crate for about 5 minutes, she poops. Again, she knows this is a no-no so she is nervously dancing all over it!!!! Now, there is poop in her crate, bed, hair, between her toes, everywhere! This is when I start spouting off about being 'done with this', 'can't take it anymore'. ( I know...thats horrible. I didn't mean any of it.)Carol, thanks for starting this thread. I needed to get that off my chest. I have been working overtime to make it up to her. ![]() |

| you gotta love them hehe...Shelby Rae will inevitably have to go outside when I'm in bed with my laptop working so I'll ask her daddy to take her out..but no she won't go till I get up put down my 17in big laptop with all the wires everywhere and go outside in my pj's in the freezing cold with her..I get so frustrated sometimes but then she gives me that face and comes for me to hold her paw while she curls up by me when we get back in and of course my heart just melts and I have to put everything back down to kiss her all over.. there is nothing like a yorkie!

| Bella, too, is scared of most everything. It seems she thinks the world and everyone in it is out to do her harm. Very few people are allowed to pet her but she'll reluctantly come for a treat, only to run off as soon as she snatches it. She loves other dogs and for the most part, behaves really well with them. Although she won't stand for any dog to sniff her rear. The hardest part with her is 1) she still has accidents at 3 years old and 2) sometimes when going outside, she gets on one of her paranoid kicks and won't potty even tho she has to. She'll start spinning/turning then stop and start all over. It gets irritating when it's cold or raining, which I'm sure she picks up on. My bf jokes that Bella has multiple personalities. Which sometimes, it seems like she does. She'll be fine and chilling out, then the next second, she's freaking out. She's getting better, but still has her days when I'm at my wits end with her.

LOL Isn't it weird how they do the bad things and we feel guilty about our reactions to them?

| As I sit here reading YT, my little one is giving me what I call "stink-eye", she's laying at my feet with her favorite toy and with her paws out staring me down. I have never had a more "needy" dog in my life - and then there is "bait" toy - she brings me a toy to get my attention, but the one she actually wants is in the other room where she wants to play. She doesn't want to play with this toy, it has to be her favorite toy. She is definitely just like a toddler and I'm afraid will never outgrow it. I wouldn't trade her for the world though. |

| Oh my gosh, that is exactly Lexie; of course on the coldest and rainest day, she will not concentrate when I take her out to potty - and the least little things (a leaf blowing, a bird flying over) will throw her off and she'll have to start her "walk" all over again - I am standing like a statue so that I don't disturb her thought process and the whole reason we are outside. The worst though is if she poops first; then it's impossible to get a pee out of her, even though I know she needs to!!! Quote:

| Well I see I'm not the only one who has a terrible twoer. Shayna got me the maddest I've ever been. She is a usual paper shredder, but she has taken to getting on the dining room table and stealing things to chew up like my sons new pen and the my new glass case from on top of the coffee table. So I finally needed to get really mad at her and yelled and then she got a swat on the butt with big no's and bad girl. She knew she was busted, slinked in to the bedroom then came out and laid on the couch for 2 hours with a boo boo face and left me alone. I felt bad, but the behavior needs to stop and lately she doesn't listen to my voice only my husbands to stop bad behavior. Grant it she's only a year old... I do hope she mellows with age. She is also a barker... Barks at everything and runs around on patrol, looking for something to get excited about. Very annoying and hate to bug the neighbors late at night. So as much as you love the little guys, it is like having a two year old in the house. I'm getting used to it. But it can make you somewhat crazy. |

| When I leave the house Pann gets so mad he grabs the bottom of my pants and shakes and growls and trys to pull me back away from the door It makes me angry for a split second and then I just have to laugh, and reasure him that I'll be back. I don't even leave him alone he's with my bf and his twin and his puggle sister, spoiled rotten is never alone! |
